The Rise of Intelligent Machines and Hyper connected Societies
Whenever we talk about technology, the first thing that comes to our mind is smartphones, robots and such things and having you ever thought that technology can be inconvenient. Now, it has become a necessity in our day-to-day life. Everyday inventions are happening which make our life smart, comfortable and efficient too. And nowadays, there are some such tech inventions happening which make our day-to-day life smart and comfortable without any hard work on our part.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are not just boss votes. It has become easier to actively solve our real-life problems. Every work, whether it is writing customer support or coding, today we are doing self-driving with the help of AI. Accurate diagnosis is being done in hospitals and many places movies and music are also being created. AI has brought regulation in healthcare. We can detect diseases like cancer with it. This is possible thanks to advanced eye scanning tools and the same Victor's Assistant. I have made customer care a 24/7 working service and this is just the beginning. In the coming time, it will become an intelligent part of every industry.
In our daily life, we use normal computers which are a bit expensive. However, there are many applications where quantum computers are utilised. What kind of technology is this that solves complex problems at speed? Quantum computers do that instead of traditional binary numbers which can be in multiple states at the same time. Google claimed in 2023 that their quantum computers can calculate in a few seconds what a supercomputer takes 47 years. Think how powerful this can be and it can bring a lot of regulation in fields like financial modelling, data discovery, and space exploration. These quantum computers will have a very big role in today's life.
When we saw transactions through 3G or 4G, streaming, gaming and downloading became fast. Now in the era of 5G, due to its low-speed latency, the development of real-time applications like VR and AR, remote surgery and autonomous vehicles has become possible. After 5G, 6G work has started. Countries like China and North Korea have already started fielding research. In the future, we will live in a world where everything will be hyper-connected. From the fridge to see your smartwatch.

Robots are working in factories. They are doing door deliveries. We and the robots have also started to greet the customers, help and break the rules. Along with that, Tesla, a company owned by Mass, has launched optimum robots that can basically do household tasks. Autonomous has done wonders in warehousing and logistics. In Amazon’s fulfilment centres, the robots themselves pick and sort the items and then leave them. Today, autonomous not only reduces labour costs but also increases efficiency and safety.
Smartwatches and fitness bands do not only tell the time. It also monitors our heartbeat, oxygen level, heart cycle and stress. Devices like the Apple Watch and Fitbit provide real-time health updates and hence are very important because we have seen many times where a person got a heart attack, Apple Watch supported him and an emergency call was sent to the ambulance. Watch, smart rings, and smart glasses have already come on the market. In future, these devices will become even more advanced. Like continuous classes, monitoring for diabetes, medical health drawing and AI-based health alerts, all these will be very useful in our day-to-day life and whenever something happens to us, we will be able to call an ambulance by making an emergency call.
Blockchain is not limited to Bitcoin or crypto. It is just a trustworthy digital life technology that provides a high level of data security and transmission. It is growing in fields like supply chain, voting system, digital identity, and verification. Big companies like Walmart and IBM are using it to change their supply chains to make them transparent, blockchain is playing a big role in healthcare data management, insurance claim verification and even education certificates.
The concept of smart cities is being implemented. Infrastructure, energy, transport and communication come under an integrated digital system. For example, smart traffic systems that automatically adjust time signals during rush hours or smart buses that send signals when they are full. Smart Cities Mission is currently underway in India. Cities like Pune and Ahmadabad have been made its model. Smart water management, automatic surveillance and effective waste management are done with the help of this subject.
In conclusion, I would like to say that with every innovation, we have to face challenges from time to time. Problems like data privacy, automation, and digital addiction are side effects of advances. But if we do it responsibly and keep the right combination of policies and education, then tech technology can become a powerful acquisition just by convenience. In today's era, it is tech for goods. We have the tool that can remove property, make education accessible and lift the health system to the global level. The question is are we able to directly correct these tools? Technology is changing every day, every year, but how we adopt it is up to us. What it will do and where we will stand in the future, all depends on us.
