Challenges and Opportunities in India’s EV Adoption
The biggest problem in India today is the air quality. It is constantly falling, due to which breathing has become a big problem in India, where the AQI remains a hundred plus daily, due to which many people in India are facing many types of problems, and it is very bad. Problems like lung cancer and many such skin problems can occur due to poor quality of air, and this has a direct impact on our lifestyle. That is why India has taken a very big step in which they have offered a very good subsidy to the EV sector. Whenever you buy a car, you will get a discount of 30-40% on it.

EV is becoming very popular in India these days. Tata and many such companies are making a name for themselves in the EV industry because these are the most sold EVs these days. Railway stations have also been made for normal EVs where you can also get fast charging, and this has become very beneficial for our country because the air quality in our country is deteriorating a lot. The biggest problem is that so many vehicles are running. In India, almost crores of vehicles run every day, due to which a lot of pollution and carbon dioxide is released, due to which our air quality is deteriorating a lot.
The most positive impact of an electric vehicle is directly on the environment, because if the TV is used, then carbon dioxide will be released, due to which the air quality will become normal or stable, and it will make a lot of difference in our lifestyle as well. In today's time, in a city like Delhi, you people cannot go out without masks because Delhi has an air quality purifier of 500, which is not at all stable. We always have to install air quality purifiers at home, which are very costly, and we use them all the time.
Big companies like Tesla are also coming to India now, and this is a very good thing because the market for electronic vehicles will become even bigger, and companies like Tesla have a lot of brand value, and their vehicles are so good. Due to this, their sales through normal cars will decrease, due to which there is a release of carbon dioxide and the amount of carbon that will be used in our ads, and this is a very good thing for us. Today, so much carbon dioxide is released in India that we have a lot of problems breathing. We have to go out wearing masks. Audi, being an electric vehicle, is very stable, and its battery is reusable. Whereas in normal cars, the battery has to be changed. The other battery keeps getting damaged.

If you ask me personally, I have a Tata car, which gives very good mileage. 250 kilometers, and I got a subsidy of Rs 140000 on it, and this is a big deal for me because this is a lot of money, and if I had gone to buy a normal car, I would not have gotten any subsidy on it, and they would have asked for two lakh extra as well because a normal car is more expensive. From Bihar, and we have also got a 15-year warranty on this battery, so you can imagine how good it is and how beneficial it is, and till today it has been almost 3 years with that car, and there is no problem at all. That's why I shared my experience; that's why now I should buy an EV car.
Electric vehicles are cheaper than normal vehicles. Hence, our price will also be less. On top of that, due to the governor's initiative, we will get a subsidy of 30 to 40%. This means that when you buy a vehicle and submit your documents, the government will deduct 32-40% of your tax from you. This is a very good initiative due to which you will enjoy buying that vehicle. Now you will feel happy, and your money will also be saved, and you will also like it a lot, because the buyers want a good car for less money, and if you are getting so many subsidies, then why would you buy a normal vehicle? Then you will go to buy electronics.
But the most important thing in which India is lagging behind even today is that the electric chargers, the stations for electric charging, are very few even today, due to which, because of the lack of infrastructure in many places, we are facing a lot of problems in charging our electric vehicles. A private company has found a solution for this also, which will bring you a bar on your call, which will have a very big battery inside it. They will charge you fast with it, and they will charge you some money, so this is a very good idea in which the battery will come to your house or anywhere you are and will charge your card and go away. I find this the best thing; there are lakhs of workers to date.

If you live in the same city and you only use a car to go to work or to travel around, then my suggestion would be that EV cards are the best because they do not include the cost of fuel, and there are many other benefits in saving money. For example, regarding your question of fuel, today in India, the price of petrol is 105 rupees per liter, due to which there is a huge shortage of petrol, and it costs so much, and not everyone can afford it because not everyone can spend so much money. That is why many people buy a bike instead of a car because they find the additional income expenditure of petrol for the car to be very high.
Lastly, I would like to say that if you are a person who wants to use a car only to go to work or to roam around in the city, then the EV card is the best because it gives an average of 200-300 km. But if you are the one who has a hard time going out of the city or you have a problem with transportation, then you need a normal card. But if you just want to travel in your city, then an EV is the best for that also because you will save on fuel consumption, and the consumption of charge is not even one-third of the fuel, and it will be very beneficial, and it will be very beneficial for the environment, and the subsidy that you will get will be different.
