From Blank Slate to Glory: Conquering The Splinterlands Frontier
The heat is on in Splinterlands as a brand new season unwraps! We have new conflicts, new synergy and ... the frontier! We have fresh storylines, fierce player rivalries, and golden opportunities to rise through the ranks.
Got stats, card combos, or deep gameplay insights that could either change the meta… or at least make us spit out our coffee? We want it ALL… and it better be nothing short of AMAZING!
An arcane storm brews across the realm, casting a dramatic new light over the battlefield! That’s right, battle mages.... the conflicts are live once again... even more epic than before!
Each week in Splinterlands, some of the rarest Foundations cards will be up for grabs in a series of epic draws. Here’s how it works:
🔹 Every reward chest opened during the Frontier period earns you Frontier Entries.
🔹 These entries go straight into the week’s draw.
🔹 When the countdown ends, 76 lucky Battle Mages will score a random prize from the exclusive pool!
What’s in the treasure chest? Black Foil Foundations Cards, Gold Foil Arcane Foundations Cards, and even Black Foil Arcane Foundations Cards! These cards are only available through the Frontier Draws so once they’re gone... they’re gone forever!
Guilds and solo warriors clash in pursuit of glory, loot, and bragging rights. Welcome to The Frontier! For now... we are all equals in the bold new game mode designed to shake up traditional play!
Frontier emphasizing strategic deckbuilding, progression, and true on-chain ownership. The format has officially arrived, ushering in a fresh era of Splinterlands gameplay. This is your chance to prove yourself in a stripped-back, skill-driven battlefield where every move counts... and every win
What is Frontier? The new season-based game mode in Splinterlands where everyone starts with a blank slate! No existing cards are carried over and the players build their deck from scratch by opening and earning Frontier-exclusive packs!
Sharpen your strategies, win those battles, and stack your entries. The more you play, the better your chances to claim a piece of Splinterlands history. But what are the odds? Pretty low!
Frontier is 100% free-to-play and crafted to be strategic, and deeply rewarding. Every card you earn is yours to own ... as a fully digital, tradable, and on-chain. NFT bonanza for normies!
It’s designed to welcome new players with a gentle learning curve while offering veterans a compelling new battlefield with no pay-to-win shortcuts. Jump into Campaign Mode and unlock your starter deck to begin your Frontier journey.
As you progress... you’ll grow your collection, refine your strategy, and compete in battles where smart decisions make all the difference. The community will help with their Frontier stories.
Meanwhile.... on Wild Mode... I managed to finish Gold II Tier! It came with 40k Glint as end of season rewards, about the same amount obtained for wins along the way... plus 50k Glint for Silver Rank 6! Good bounties!
What a better way to spend the big bag of Glint than legendary cards! I had the Emberguard and Blackmoor Jinx but Gallicus is a brand new entry in my deck! Ranged with Taunt? This combination looks awkward!
Gallicus the Constant hails from Meridian and is one of three members of the High Council. In spite of the Chaos Empire’s conquest, he remains steadfast in his belief that the Mox Confederation should avoid any military, political, or economic alliances!
Neutrality must be strictly adhered to, for a day will come when the Chaos Empire is no more, and the citizens of Praetoria will remember the actions of the confederation and who they did or did not support.
The new season started well... and soon I reached Gold II Tier again! It was cooler back in the days, when the chests had proper rewards. Now all I am getting are potions and merits! None of them useful!
At least we have Frontier Mode now and reward cards that are not souldbound! From your first victory to hard-learned tips for new adventurers, every voice matters. Join the challenge, spread the word, and help shape the future of the Frontier!
The magic is there and is waiting with more Frontier cards! Win and unwrap a max three gifts per day! This new format emphasizes progression, crafting, and tactical choice as players grow their power. You can enjoy:
- New progression system — Level up, earn rewards, and unlock higher-tier challenges.
- On-chain ownership — All cards and assets used or earned are minted and tradable.
- Deckbuilding mode — It’s all about what you build, not what you already own.
- Battle pass style reward track — Earn unique cosmetics, currencies, and NFTs.
The new format creates a level playing field where no whale has advantage. It makes Splinterlands more accessible to new players and competitive deckbuilders.
The Frontier introduces an ever-evolving meta that makes each season feels different. Why was it implemented? It aims to strengthens the economy with fresh card demand and utility.
So far I managed to level up only few cards, and there's along way ahead! So far... everyone is still equal... and the strategy counts more than the level of the units. Time will make it better!
Let me entertain you with a Frontier battle where the units with Sneak got sneaked out! Starting with 26 mana and trying to vibe with Lost Legendaries and Super Sneak. Team selection makes the difference!
Aurelia: +1 Health to friendly units
Dread Tafarian: Melee with Heal
Vengeful Monk: Melee with Opportunity
Spellmonger: Support with Thorns and Untrainable
My opponent went for a team that was supposed to delay and conquer casters, with the Nim Guard Captain upfront and the New Beluroc Aegis at the back! Spellmonger in the middle made no sense!
The Beluroc spawn kept hitting my Spellmonger and being hit by thorn damage, while the Vengeful Monk targeted him as payback! One unit down for each as the third round was closing!
The Dread Tafarian was going 1v1 with the Nim Guard Captain, while the Vengeful Monk was heading towards his demise due to Thorns! One hit... two hits and both him and the Spellmonger were down!
My leonine had the early advantage, and the healing factor on his side! It went all the way to the 8th round until he claimed the victory! See the full battle here!
