My Actifit Report Card: July 30 2025........Wednesday Walk π£π¨ππππ―ππ πΌππ΄π€ββ πΌπΆπβ¨π
Hello everyone π»,
Happy hump πͺ day and a very warm welcome to my report. It's the last Wednesday of July. A nice sunny day is what we have had in my neck of the hood, though at times heavily cloudy like it wanted to rain.
Anyways, many thanks for stopping by and let's dive right in π¨.
So this morning, I kicked off my day with a few stretching moves indoors before embarking on the daily chores.
As usual, I later settled down to some you tube and trending stories on x.
My first venture outdoors was towards the city centre for a few errands. It was a nice sunny π day as I made my way to the bus stop.
I had a little bit of walking, completed my errand and then headed back home.
My last walk was this evening for the slow paced sunset π walk. A beautiful sunset with some wonderful cool breeze π was what I found as I wound down my day.
So that was the stepping and now let's look at the news.
As usual Gaza trending as the mass murder kept going as Israeli forces killed 61 Palestinians in airstrikes aimed at Hamas. Another 49 Palestinians killed as Israeli forces shot into crowd of starving Palestinians.
The hunger and starvation still taking hold, 148 people have died of malnutrition and starvation including 89 infants. The pictures of the suffering emaciated children is quite disheartening. Under pressure, Israel has begun to allow some aid into Gaza but the UN warns it is no where near the volumes needed to avert the hunger and famine.
Palestinians have been sifting through sands for bits of food from the airdropped aid, it is too little leaving lots of people scrambling for whatever little they can get.
Across the border, Israeli ministers have requested approval for settlers to go on a 'civilian tour' of the northern borders of Gaza
Another shocker as Israel's heritage minister calls for remaining captives in Gaza to be designated as prisoners of war.
In the UK, a court has ruled that rights group, Palestine Action can challenge a govt ban. The UK govt designated the Palestine Action group as a terrorist organization last month. Anyone supporting or promoting it could face up to 14 years in prison. All that will be reviewed and the court may or may not reverse that decision.
Across the pond in the US, despite lots of pressure from Trump, a hard headed Jerome Powell has kept the interest rates steady at between 4.25 and 4.50%. Trump has been insisting the rates be lowered and claiming Powell was incompetent. However his term comes to an end next year.
Finally, in crazy weather a strong 8.8 magnitude earthquake hit Russia triggering a tsunami warning across many countries lying across the Pacific Ocean. However, later today the tsunami warnings have been downgraded. Fingers crossed it remains like thatπ―.
So that's it from me today, see you again tomorrow on an awesome Thursday. Until then stay safe, take care and adios β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π» π―.
