Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Monday and a very warm welcome to my report. We are onto a new week, mid of the month of July and the stepping continued unabated💯.
So I woke up to a beautiful sunny🌞 day and went on my first walk around the neighbourhood. I did about twenty minutes then was back indoors handling the usual tasks of the day.
Later I settled down into X and youtube and also followed up on the trending stories of the day.
My final walk saw me go for some errands around the city centre then a quick stop at the park before heading back home and calling it a day.
Let's now turn our attention to the trending stories.
In Gaza, the mass murder continued with 61 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes😿. Hamas fighters engaged in direct clashes with Israeli forces in north Gaza, 3 Israeli soldiers reportedly killed in some of the exchanges.
Meanwhile 2 Palestinians killed at the humanitarian food collection point in Rafa😿.
No word yet on any ceasefire/ captives agreement.
In the other war, Trump has said he is disappointed with Putin and threatened severe tariffs on Russia in 50 days if the war doesn't end.
He met with NATO Sec Gen Mark Rutte at the white house where a big deal worth billions was unveiled to sell weapons to NATO which will then coordinate with Ukraine in trying to defend from Russian attacks.
Still with Trump, he will be hosted in the UK by King Charles III for a state banquet in September. There are also reports that King Charles and his estranged son Harry might bury the hatchet soon.
The European Union has promised to take countermeasures against the United States if the administration of US President Donald Trump introduces 30 percent tariffs on imports from the bloc next month🙀.
More from Trump as he has again attacked Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, stepping up criticism that has sparked concerns over efforts to undermine the independence of the country’s central bank🙀. In remarks before religious figures at the White House on Monday, Trump called Powell a “knucklehead” and insisted that he should lower interest rates😹.
