Happy hump 🐪 day, and a very warm welcome to my report. We are bang in the middle of the week, this day of Mercury.
I have had a great day and am about to share it. Definitely thank you for stopping by and let's get into it 💨.
So I started the day with the usual morning walk around the neighborhood. It was a drizzly morning, everything wet from last night's rain.
I didn't last long outside and after about 25 to 30 minutes, I was back indoors for the usual house chores including cooking. Later I was on you tube, twitter and checked out the days trending stories.
The evening turned out to be quite cloudy as I set off for the final walk of the day. Finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
Now lets turn our eyes to what has been trending around the globe.
In Gaza, the mass murder continued with 36 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting Hamas😿. One of the airstrikes in Central Gaza hit a school sheltering displaced people killing 13 instantly several others were injured🙀.
In the other war, Russian airstrikes continued in various places in Ukraine including Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro and Kharkiv . A drone hit a bus in the Eastern part of the country killing 9 people😿.
Meanwhile. Trump has lashed out at Zelenky for refusing to agree that Russia legally owns Crimea which they snatched from Ukraine in 2014🙀.
US vice president JD Vance, has added that the US will walk away if Russia and Ukraine do not agree to US proposals.
There have been talks going on in London and also Saudi Arabia, Lets hope diplomacy works to end the war that has gone on for too long💯.
Also trending, the public viewing of the Late Pope began today at St Peter's Basilica, thousands of people were on the queue to pay their last respects. This will go on until Friday with the funeral mass and burial to be held on Saturday.
Another trending story is the EU has fined Apple and Meta a total of nearly $800 million for breaching its Digital Markets Act🙀.
Lets go to Asia, where India trending as it downgraded ties with Pakistan after yesterday's tragic even when gunmen attacked and killed 26 tourists in Indian administered Kashmir😿. The main border remains partially closed.
Finally, a magnitude 6.2 earthquake has been recorded off Istanbul coast🙀. Injuries reported as people tried to flee shaking buildings. However no deaths or damage to property reported.
