My little jollof rice

After the long day at work, I came home to fix a little dinner.
I had fews items at home, so it was easy for me to proceed in making my little jollof.
I had my rice, I actually used two cups of rice since it was a little meal.

Here are the few items I used;
Rice two cups
Tomato two sachets (Gino party jollof)
Seasoning cubes/ spices
Salt
Pepper
Onion
Groundnut oil

I used these few items, but to have a very amazing party jollof, few ingredients are added, including meat, fresh tomatoes, veggies etc.

Since, I had my few core items, dinner was ready.
Firstly, I parboiled my rice, this procedure is optional. You either boil the water and add to the rice, and keep for few minutes or, you just parboiled. I actually parboiled it, in other to safe time.

Secondly, after parboiling, I then rinsed the rice. After which I placed my empty frying pan on fire, added my groundnut oil, and allow to hit a little.
After which I added my chop onion, stir a little. And then added my tomato paste, stir and I added my seasonings.

I added salt pepper and stir. I added little water for my ingredients to marry themselves.

I cooked for few seconds, after which I added my parboiled rice, stir adequately for it to mix properly.
After few minutes of cooking, my dinner was ready.

Something is actually missing here, my cooked egg.
I was too famished, I failed to include them.

Dinner is served. My little jollof rice.
