Hello Leo Finance friends, may God always bless us all.

I am very happy to share this post with the Leo Finance community. This afternoon, I just read the good news tweeted by Binance via platform X. This is good news for us, the residents affected by the flash floods and landslides in Aceh and Sumatra.

Basically, there are three regions most affected by hydrometeorological disasters: Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. These three regions are located on the island of Sumatra, at the western tip of Indonesia.

These natural disasters include flash floods and landslides. Where I currently live in Central Aceh, landslides and flash floods have also affected 14 sub-districts. The impact of these natural disasters has been quite extensive, especially with the disruption of land transportation, which has disrupted logistics and paralyzed economic activity in the affected areas.

To mitigate the post-disaster impacts, cooperation and support from various parties are needed to accelerate recovery and ensure the survival of the community. Otherwise, the wider impact could lead to social disruption and famine. Food and logistical supplies are our greatest need right now to survive these dire times in the affected areas.

The most devastating thing is that many villages are isolated, hundreds of homes have been buried by landslides and even swept away by flash floods, and countless lives have been lost and their bodies have yet to be found. If this situation continues to be ignored, given the current situation, famine will strike in remote areas. Therefore, support from various stakeholders is urgently needed.

Fortunately, today, Binance officially announced on its X platform and website its support for disaster relief and the impact of the natural disaster in the Aceh-Sumatra region. Binance has donated USD 245,000, divided into two categories: logistics and food, and airdrop support to Binance users in the disaster-affected areas of Aceh-Sumatra.

USD 170,000 was donated through the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) for logistics, food, and other support. Meanwhile, USD 75,000 will be allocated through a BNB airdrop system to all users who have completed KYC verification before December 3, 2025. The airdrop will be transferred directly to users' wallets. The primary requirement for receiving this airdrop is for users located in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.

According to information, the airdrop will be distributed no later than December 23, 2025. I welcome and am very pleased with this, and fully support the program run by Binance Charity to help communities affected by natural disasters. Indeed, as the largest trading platform, Binance is also very active in social, empathy, and charity sectors. They directly connect social connections, bringing positive value to technological advancements and their platform.

Empathy and social responsibility are often core values that can trigger positive public perception, due to direct involvement and the tangible, broad impact, both in terms of moral values and media exposure. I refer to this as social interest, something that touches the conscience and attracts public attention. What might emerge from the partnership between Binance and Indonesia will undoubtedly be a bridge to facilitate Binance entry into the Indonesian market.

It's likely that obtaining permits for management will be easier to access for stakeholders in Indonesia. This collaboration will undoubtedly have positive impacts in the future, including increasing popularity.

Binance has demonstrated its support for disaster-affected communities in the Aceh-Sumatra region, so what about the Hive community? If you think this could be a path to increased popularity, the Hive community has the potential and opportunity to be directly involved in providing support to communities affected by natural disasters. Yesterday, I submitted a proposal to stakeholders in the Hive community, but unfortunately, it seems there has been no response to date.

I'm proposing a sustainable charity project that will promote Hive in a tangible way in the public sphere, increasing its popularity and presence as a major project that cares about the real lives of those living there. I hope this proposal will be accepted by the Hive community and that I can implement the program soon. If you're interested, you can read my post here:
