Hello, Hivers — affectionate greetings to those who visit this corner.

With this reflection, I open a post about something vital: the new — that which must bloom in writing, in art, and in the deep commitment to a rational idea — that the world needs what is good, authentic, and, therefore, often demands the sacrifice of personal benefit for the common good.

Yes, perhaps an archaic notion — yet one still held dear by certain generations.

For the new at dawn

Blissful dawns that kiss your hands, that caress your temples, that sway your bodies with the delight of a passing breeze.

Muses perch upon your heads, the cobblestones pass beneath your eager feet, with joyful smiles and no fear.

The sun shall be established as an insurmountable flame, and we shall all depart with arboreal hearts, taking root in soils of hope.

Blossomed hands will wave sharp farewells, for they know how ill-fated it is to be rash. Let not pride bite them, nor the sword of oblivion swell their chest.

From seed we came, and seed we shall return. Let it fall upon fertile ground. Fertilize it with a burning ember of love, with a hundred blind horses of locomotive and wind.

Pour it into the earth—let it be grass, let it be poppy. Feel the clamor of the stars, breathe as one summoned to the banquet of the world, to the earthly domain.

If you don’t know poetry as I do, become literate— devour a book, or the whole library, in one night.

Do not be a silkworm, but rather a green worm—one of those whose wings unfold at the end.

It just takes a little more effort, and the will to learn from human error.

Hola Hivers, afectuoso saludo para el que me visita.

Con esta frase abrimos este post que trata de eso, de lo nuevo que debe florecer en la escritura, en el arte y el compromiso de aquello con la idea racional de que el mundo necesita de lo bueno, de lo auténtico y por ende del sacrificio del bien propio para el bien común. Por cierto, idea arcaica pero aún conservada por algunas generaciones.

Para lo nuevo en el amanecer

Amaneceres dichosos que les besen las manos

que les acaricien las sienes

les mezan los cuerpos con deleite de brisa pasajera

las musas posen en sus cabezas

los adoquines pasen debajo de sus pies efusivos

con sonrisas alegres y sin miedos

el sol será instaurado como flama infranqueable

y nos iremos todos con el corazón arbóreo

echando la raíz en suelos de esperanzas

las manos florecidas dirán adioses tajantes

pues saben que es nefasto ser precipitados

más que no les muerda el orgullo

ni les inflame el pecho la espada del olvido

de la semilla fuimos y semilla daremos

que sea en tierra fértil

abónela con un tizón de amor encendido

con cien caballos ciegos de locomotora y viento

viértase en la tierra, sea pasto, sea amapola

sienta el clamor de astros, respire convocado

al banquete del mundo, al terrenal espacio

si no sabe de poesía como yo, hágase letrado

y cómase de una noche un libro o la biblioteca

no sea gusano de seda

más bien gusano verde de los que tienen alas al final extendidas

solo da un poco más de trabajo

y corrija los errores aprendiendo de humanos.
