Hola amigos hiverianos que pasan por la Comunidad de @FreeWriters, para mi es un placer saludarles.

Con este texto participo de la iniciativa de @freewritehouse, “A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words”. Y lo hago para este impresionante témpano de hielo que se presenta en el contest de esta semana.
Me despido como siempre, que tengan una feliz noche o un esplendoroso día, según sea el caso!

No olviden divertirse un rato aunque el sol no brille en la ventana.

El azul austral viene, gime
.
.
se diluye su agua dulce
como una primavera conservada,
sigilosamente colorida con el fondo del océano.
Tememos el exterminio prematuro
que se ha anunciado en los vértices del viento.
Pero él danza con la tenebrosa lucidez de un gigante,
en su costado el mineral retorcido
se ha quemado con los elementos de antaño.
—Es mucha agua dulce para un planeta herido.—
El continente de moléculas que se precipita,
canta y escuchamos con los ojos abismados
en la letanía de un silencio que vaticina una despedida.
No hay alas flotantes ni plumas arquetípicas
en los cielos de los simuladores modernos.
Yo hablo a la noche para que respire a su costado
y al sol para que disuada su germinación radioactiva.
Mientras pasa, el mar de leva se instaura;
en mi memoria, la escasez del Caribe señala
aquella época en que bastaba
con la punta de una aurora para amenizar el futuro.
Sentíamos la luciérnaga del mar vertida
en los cimientos de la humanidad,
arropados en el arrojo de un crepúsculo.
¡ Ahora, pasa, gigante!
Despoja de nubes este día
sin pájaros ni exterminio.

The Austral Blue Comes

The austral blue comes, it moans,
its fresh water dissolves
like a preserved spring,
silently colored with the depths of the ocean.
We fear the premature extermination
announced in the vertices of the wind.
But it dances with the somber lucidity of a giant;
on its side, the twisted mineral
has burned with the elements of old.
—Too much fresh water for a wounded planet.—
The continent of molecules that falls,
sings, and we listen with abyssal eyes
to the litany of a silence foretelling farewell.
No floating wings nor archetypal feathers
in the skies of modern simulators.
I speak to the night so it may breathe by its side,
and to the sun, so it may dissuade its radioactive germination.
As it passes, the storm sea rises;
in my memory, the scarcity of the Caribbean marks
that time when it was enough
for the tip of a dawn to brighten the future.
We felt the sea’s firefly poured
into the foundations of humankind,
sheltered in the daring of a twilight.
Now, pass, oh giant!
Strip this day of clouds,
without birds, without extermination.
