War Nickels- 35% Silver Content 1942-1945 and my 40% Half Dollar

A great find! These are called "War Nickels" and contain 35% silver. These shine even after all this time and sell for between $3-5 depending on the condition. I love this piece of history, and add to this stack as often as I can. I like to supplement my Roosevelt Dime stack with these, and enjoy the fact that our money once held silver that I can stack as "junk silver" today.

This 1968 half dollar coin is 40% silver. I love these half dollar coins, and was glad to get a deal on this one. I purchased some 1 Pesos coins and 1/10 Panama Balboa coins I hope to share soon.
