My Biggest "I Must Make It in Life" Moment

Hello everyone,

Life na real teacher, Sometimes it teaches us with sweet things, and other times it hits us hard to wake us up for me there was one moment in my life that really opened my eyes and made me say, I must make it in this life no matter what.

It all happened one day when I was coming back from an event I entered public transport and I sat close to a woman with her two kids the way the children were looking tired and hungry broke my heart the woman kept begging the driver to collect half fare because she didn’t have enough money the driver refused, and everyone just looked away I was lucky to have a small change with me, so I paid for her and her kids she cried and said, God will bless you that moment touched me deeply i told myself, Omolola, you must make it in life so that you will not only help yourself but help many people like this.

That day changed my mindset. Before I used to take life anyhow I used to believe if something doesn’t work today I can try next year i didn’t really understand the value of time, money, or even purpose but after that encounter, something woke up inside me.

From that time, I started being intentional about my life I stopped spending time on things that don’t matter i started reading books, learning online skills, and watching motivational videos I knew I needed to level up not just for myself but for the people who may one day depend on me that’s how my freelancing journey started It was not easy, but that fire in me didn’t allow me to give up i knew I couldn’t go back to that life where someone will beg for half transport fare and be ignored.

I still have a long way to go, but every small win reminds me that I’m moving forward, Now, whenever I feel tired or discouraged, I remember that woman and her children remember why I started i know I must make it so I can be a blessing to others.

Life will always give us that one moment that will shake us and wake us that moment for me became my turning point.
