someone defaced my webpages with an sql injection
Oh, yeah... that sucks big time... Had that too in the past...
The thing is that this time, it was like 3-4 different attacks, with completely different approaches... For example, one was defaced (index/config files edited with added code), the other was uploading phishing scripts, then another one was emailing SPAM from newly created email accounts, etc. I never had something like that before... I mean, all that, in just a few days...
Anyways.. it has passed... and it will not repeat... at least, not for me as administrator... 😃

That's on a different machine... At least I learned a lesson about NOT keeping all apples in the same basket... 😀
well you could always use proxmox , i do the same here running PFsense on proxmox and some small servers to test things on a differend vlan ;)
