A Week To Forget .:. WorkerBee PH-Pool Week 240

avatar

If there weren't for these Workerbee reports, I would probably take a long break from posting on HIVE... As I'm responsible for providing information about the tokens that we mined in the pool, I have to do them... Luckily for me, these posts, in hard times, do serve me as a therapy, and sharing things with you guys is helping me in pushing through... Also, it keeps me involved in Hive, and doesn't allow me to stop interacting with others...

You have probably noticed that I have barely posted anything in the last 2 weeks... Last week, in my WB report, I mentioned that one of my hosting servers got hacked, but in those moments, I wasn't aware that it was bigger than I thought... Naively, I thought that the worst was over and the problem was solved, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case... The problems became deeper and deeper, and the stress and frustrations continued through the rest of the week...

As the story is a bit longer, I will try to write about it in some other, dedicated post, as I did learn a lot about myself in the last week... Also, I made some huge changes in life, thanks to this unfortunate event, which should help a lot with my future project and focus...

Last week was the week to forget, but the lessons learned will not be... I would like to thank everyone who sent me DMs and comments of support! 🙏 Finally, I can say now that the worst is behind us, and it was great to see that all involved parties got the best out of it (except the hacker 😃)! That was the main idea throughout my life: I was always putting the clients in the first place! All data was safely backed up, and everything works better than ever! Most of the clients noticed all this as a small glitch, but in the background, it was a war...

Let's see the WorkerBee Pool numbers for this week...

This week, we have mined 93 BEE tokens in total, 13 more than the week before! 🙁

This week, we got a new delegator! Welcome, @beebop! Also, we got new delegations from old members, as usual! Thanks, guys! Appreciate your support!

This POOL doesn't have fees, and you get up to 20% MORE by delegating to it!

What about the bonus tokens?

This week, we are back to the SPS token distribution as our BONUS token... The whole crypto market is in a bit strange time... We have so much better "legal" conditions than ever, but somehow, everyone is waiting for that something... I have a feeling that we will soon get some trigger that will "release the beast" and push crypto much higher... But will HIVE, SPS, and other tokens be in that group of cryptocurrencies? We will see... From another perspective, we got additional time to accumulate tokens that we believe in!

There will be distributed 230 SPS tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!

image.png

230 SPS tokens will be distributed as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 11.301%, and when we added the bonus, it went up to 13.716%!

I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens when creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...

Do you want to sponsor the PH-Pool with your tokens, receive a short SPONSORED segment in this post, and raise awareness about your front-end or dApp? Please let me know in the comment section, or contact me through Discord or Twitter, and we will find the best solution for both parties...

Liotes Divider Blue.png

If you want to join the WorkerBee PH-Pool, the only thing that you have to do is to STAKE tokens to YOUR account and DELEGATE your staked WORKERBEE tokens to THIS account (@ph1102)! Every week, you will get your portion of mined BEE tokens and BONUS rewards!

.:. DO NOT STAKE TOKENS TO MY ACCOUNT!!! Just DELEGATE! .:.

All payments will be made after publishing this post...

If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section!

You can find more about this pool in the initial post here https://ecency.com/hive-119826/@ph1102/workerbee-p-h-ool-let-s-help-each-other.

Thank you for your time.

it sucks when you lose control over your own servers, first time it happends to me was back in 2001 someone defaced my webpages with an sql injection , took a while before i was able to get things cleaned up again , so i know the feeling a little bit .

someone defaced my webpages with an sql injection

Oh, yeah... that sucks big time... Had that too in the past...
The thing is that this time, it was like 3-4 different attacks, with completely different approaches... For example, one was defaced (index/config files edited with added code), the other was uploading phishing scripts, then another one was emailing SPAM from newly created email accounts, etc. I never had something like that before... I mean, all that, in just a few days...

Anyways.. it has passed... and it will not repeat... at least, not for me as administrator... 😃

Thanks for the update. Glad you were able to get a resolution. Hopefully you taught that person a lesson as well and will not be bothered by them again. Thanks for tokens.

You are welcome, and thanks for your encouragement!

I'm happy that I found the best solution for everyone! Finally, I can relax and move my focus to more important things... ;)

I can’t imagine all the stress of that situation. Your philosophy of putting the clients first is good, I’m glad you can say the hacking is over.

That philosophy costs a lot of stress for things that I (we) shouldn't stress at all... While others didn't even notice that something was wrong, I was losing my mind...
But, I suppose you know the feeling...

!INDEED, this is the most challenging aspect; you cannot simply abandon friends, you must assist them.
Therefore, I discontinued this practice because it was too burdensome for me, and I was unable to provide them with the assistance they expected. I did not possess sufficient knowledge. I sold everything.

As long as it's not al health issue, it's all solvable! Beat down that hacker

That's true! As long as it's not a health issue! I hope that the stress will not come out in the next days, as the adrenaline levels have gone down...

People are doing this in a regular routine, and when someone doesn't update like this, they get upset for a while.

It sounds like a rough experience, and I am glad that you were able to resolve it.

Thanks for running the pool and for the BEE/SPS tokens.
