My Splinterlands Journey- Mana Restrictions and Strategy Update 1/14/25

Happy Tuesday, Splinterlands players! I am enjoying my journey in the game and am looking forward to a new season. As you all know, the Modern season ends in less than a day now and I am excited to take my lessons learned into the next season.

I have been renting cards for the red splinter with the highest level possible to maximize my effectiveness. I am in the Bronze III league and have been buying cards with my glint rewards. My general strategy for next season is to continue to buy DEC to rent the highest quality cards and stake SPS daily. I currently have around 4,600 SPS staked and am looking to expand.

As a newbie, I learned that if my mana cap for a battle is 40 or greater I have a larger chance of winning than if it is less than 30. I have two commanders and choose the commander with a mana cost of 4 if the mana cap for my cards is low. I need to focus on renting higher quality cards with mana costs between 1-3. I rented two red splinter cards with mana cost of 4, but need to go lower for a better win ratio.

I also bought a wheat producing land and will be diving into the land game as well. I plan on burning my glint rewards cards and ramping up my DEC and SPS purchases to be more effective.
