Hawk Tuah is a social media influencer. She released a meme coin with no utility called HAWK that spiked and fell 96% in a few days. It's the most recent high profile get rich quick meme coin that ended in tears.

There have been social media posts about "investor" losses in the tens of thousands of dollars. Speculators have watched their life savings dwindle and spike downwards and I take no enjoyment in reading them, even if many are fake. Guys, this kind of thing keeps happening because Crypto is seen as a get rich quick scheme and shit like this only hurts the community.

Investing or speculating into meme coins with zero utility with your hard earned money is a bad idea. I invest into PEPE, SHIB and DOGE which are meme coins that ebb and flow with play money but jumping into meme coins is extremely risky and can end badly. Trying to time meme coins when there are sophisticated price watchers and bots is dodgy at best, and you would be better served investing into ETFs or blue chip cryptocurrencies with projects and actual products.

If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, stick it into BTC or VOO for a better chance of total returns. I know it seems fun to play with meme coins but your money is truly hard won, especially if you're waking up at 5am to get to work for it like I am.
