Summary

These days, Grand Theft Auto Vice City and everything related to it is experiencing a kind of resurgence, with an avalanche of mods trying to remaster our beloved game, and this is perhaps due to the fact that the next instalment of the GTA saga is known to be set in the same city, ie Vice City. And today I bring you what is currently the best cumulative mod that has been made so far, the Vice City Extended Features, developed by a single user known in the GTA modding community as: bibidibabidibu.

Basically, this mod expands the Vice City gameplay experience, giving us new game mechanics and many hours of additional content, increasing our available gameplay hours. So today I take advantage of these features and play the role of Repoman for Sunshine Autos :)

Sunshine on Washington Beach.

And from the classic beach setting of Vice City we begin today's adventure. The beaches in this mod feel much more alive, with more pedestrians on the beach doing all sorts of activities, which makes the game more immersive.

My Green Bravado Gauntlet.

This car is a Bravado Gauntlet - Classic and it really is one of my favourite add-on cars in the game. As you can see it's a car that doesn't break the atmosphere of the game, because it was made respecting the original aesthetics of the game, and it looks like Rockstar Games themselves made it.

Yummy.

A new feature included in this mod is that we can now eat burger, ice cream, hot dogs, among other things, in different locations on the map of Vice City. We can regain health when we eat something.

Street Art in the City of Vice.

As I mentioned earlier, pedestrians can be found doing everything from playing music outdoors, dancing, playing sports or, as in this case, performing street art on the streets of Vice City.

The New Vice City Monorail.

It is now possible to find a monorail that reminds us very much of the famous monorail that currently exists in the city of Miami, USA. This monorail can only be found on the second island of the game.

The New Sunshine Autos Office.

Well, this is where the real action begins. After paying $10k for the new Sunshine Autos in-game office, which by the way it is important to mention serves as a new side mission introduced by the Extended Features mod, I have received a number of new missions as a Repoman or car collector for the Sunshine Autos agency.

Our First Mission as a Repoman.

The first mission assigned is to collect a Seminole Golden Eagle, which is a very powerful and seemingly hard to come by SUV in the Vice City vehicle ecosystem. And it turns out that the car is in the care of Biff Jackson, a dangerous member of Vice City's criminal underworld, and an ally of the Cuban gang, so we'll have to approach in a kind of undercover mission, and go for a police car and suit to the Little Havana Police VCPD Headquarters.

We arrive at the bar where the dangerous Biff Jackson was staying, where we notice the strong presence of his allies in crime, but they don't suspect anything because we are wearing our cover as a VCPD police officer.

We get out of the patrol car and then realise that Biff's car is locked, so we have to go into the bar to look for it without trying to attract too much attention.

By the way, I love the new Police Siren Lights, it looks very shiny and realistic. In terms of graphics, this is undoubtedly an excellent new feature.

A new Bar in Little Havana.

This new bar added to Little Havana by the mod has a very detailed interior and really creates a very immersive atmosphere, even respecting the lore of the game down to details such as the posters on the walls of the bar which have images of quite well known characters from the GTA saga.

Using the excuse that he had to sign a parole, we persuaded Biff to accompany us to the supposed police department.

Once inside our patrol car, and without him suspecting anything, we prepared to take Biff to a quiet place to get rid of him and get the keys to his Seminole.

The Death of Biff Jackson.

After arriving in a rather lonely residential area of ​​Little Havana, we got rid of Biff, in order to obtain the keys of his Seminole Golden Eagle. It was really easy, since it presented low resistance. It all took him by surprise, I guess...

Back at the bar in Little Havana I go to collect the truck, but strangely I don't see Jackson's henchmen...

Everybody Against me.

As I drove the truck, I was really impressed with its power and handling, and I could see why the Sunchine Auto agency was interested in acquiring this rare beast. But the fun was short-lived, because on the way to the agency to deliver the Golden Eagle, we discovered that our cover had been blown and both the police and Biff Jackson's henchmen were out to get us.

A Chill Time After the Chase.

I managed to deliver the truck to the garage of the Sunshine Autos Agency in Little Havana (you know, the original agency). I then successfully completed my first repo job for the agency. The good thing is that I now have access to this great and rare car in the game.

The Seminole Golden Eagle is Now Available in Sunshine Autos.

Finally, after succesfully completed the first delivery, now we can find a Seminole Golden Eagle inside the new agency of Suchine Autos, and I think that this is a great feature. I am very excited to see the new cars that I'll need to collect on the future and the new missions awaiting me working as the Sunshine Autos Repoman.
