GTA San Andreas (Classic) | Tagging Up Da City - Los Santos #1
Emmet Guns Alley
As I have already mentioned in other posts in this community, the range of possibilities that gamers have today in terms of gaming thanks to the community of gamers who are dedicated to modding is really impressive. For example, in this case thanks to a mod titled ‘Graffiti everywhere’ it is now possible to graffiti almost anywhere in San Andreas, thus removing the limitation of the base game that only allowed us to make such graffiti on the graffiti made by rival gangs within the game.
This mod allows us to make up to 4 different graffiti designs, so I decided to create this roleplay of a Grove Street graffiti artist who is spreading the tag of his gang around Los Santos.
Technical Note: I'm using the Classic edition of Gta: San Andreas.
A life behind bars
The journey began from jail, after a series of low-level crimes, such as micro-trafficking and acts of banditry (painting graffiti on the streets), Josh had to serve time in the Dillimore Sheriff Department jail. Here he had to deal with a couple of addicts to whom he gave a lesson in... you know, some street boxing. Things would have been a lot more difficult if he had served his time in the Los Santos Jail 100% sure.
Then he was released and immediately returned to the activities that the gang demands.
Just leaving the Dillimore Sheriff's Station.
With no money in his pocket, taking a taxi back to Los Santos was out of the question. So he had to make the long walk to Los Santos.
Searching for a gun
Arriving in Los Santos, the first thing you need to do is find a pipe (a gun) to defend yourself in the dangerous streets of Los Santos. And what better place to do this than the old gun alley of old Emmet, the trusted gun supplier of Grove Street.
Tagging up the Los Santos Sewers system
After acquiring a pipe, Josh goes straight to the Los Santos sewer system with the aim of doing some tagging for Orange Grove Street, his gang, using a simple BMX bike because he doesn't want to attract unwanted attention, especially from the police...
So the spray can starts to shake.
GSF Graffiti
This is one of the most old school graffiti used by the Grove Street gang, the GSF stands for Grove Street Forever. This graffiti was painted in the Los Santos sewers system too.
The Los Santos Hard Life
And the violence so characteristic of Los Santos is something from which you are never exempt. Here, for example, you can see the exact moment when some members of Los Vagos Santos, walking through the 'Los Flores' neighbourhood, were involved in a fierce shoot-out with LSPD (Los Santos Police Department) officers.
Fight da Police
The moment for our graffiti artist and Grove ST gang member to use his fists comes when he was paintins a 'Families 4 Live' graffiti in the Los Flores neighbourhood, and was spoted by a LSPD officer who sees the crime, then chases after Josh and the fight begins. But so many years roaming the streets of Los Santos has prepared our guy for this kind of situation which he successfully deals with the cop using his fists.
Los Santos Vagos, a Tough Gang
It's time to use the pipe, without it it's impossible to survive in territory controlled by Los Santos Vagos, this gang is lethal. Although enemy fire was returned, it was wise to flee as quickly as possible even though some of the gang members were killed.
A Random Criminal Encounter
In Los Santos everyone makes a living any way they can. It turns out that when Josh was doing more tagging in other areas, some random guy tried to steal his BMX and then he immediately applied the dirty boxing over the thief...
Seville Boulevards Families
The Mexican hoods are tough territory, this time in the hood 'El Corona' there were problems with both the police and members of the Varrio Los Aztecas, the local gang that guards El Corona's territory. But the type of graffiti I like best was successfully deployed: the classic 'Seville Boulevard Families'.
Tagging up El Corona
Here you can see how a wide variety of graffiti has been used in the tagging of the El Corona area.
The 'Raza Movimiento' Iconic Graffiti
Definitely a bold move... when our boy decided to repaint over the graffiti of Los Vagos Gang that was right next to the very iconic graffiti titled ‘La Raza Movimiento’, problems again with the police came, but not only with the police but also with members of Los Varrio Los Aztecas.
As you can see above, the first-person view makes the action feel more intense.
Using the LS Train System
To leave El Corona, Josh used the LS train system to get to Market Station, which is in downtown Los Santos. He travelled for free, using the train loading system without anyone noticing. :D
In the Vinewood Movie Studios
Determined to do the tagging in a much more striking area, our graffiti artist sneaked into the Vinewood Movie Studios, where the security guard upon discovering the huge graffiti of the Famlies that he did on one of the walls of the studios, began to shoot mercilessly, so the escape was necessary, but this time the escape would be in a Journey or motor home that was inside the facilities.
Conquering da City
The work of spreading the Grove ST brand is over for today. Los Santos, definitely a city whose streets, alleys and all the different characters that inhabit it will always have the opportunity to surprise us.
