Optical Illusion between Triangles and Squares【 🇪🇸 - 🇺🇸 】

  Lo primero que hice para este dibujo fue ubicar el centro de la página cuadriculada. Ya de allí partí haciendo mi primer cuadrado, para hacer los demás hasta llegar al tope de la hoja.

  The first thing I did for this drawing was locate the center of the grid page. From there, I started by drawing my first square, and then the others until I reached the top of the page.

  Tal vez no se note mucho el centro, pero allí está un gran punto hecho a lápiz 😅 y a continuación el primer cuadrado que usé como guía.

  The center might not be very noticeable, but there's a big dot drawn in pencil 😅, and below it is the first square I used as a guide.

  Ya después hice un cuadrado más grande seguido de otro hasta llegar al tope de la hoja. Este paso lo mostraré con un GIF hecho con Google Fotos para resumirles el post y no hacerlo tan extendido.

  Then I made a larger square, followed by another, until I reached the top of the page. I'll show this step with a GIF made with Google Photos to summarize the post and keep it from getting too long.

  Una vez terminado con los cuadrados, empecé a hacer los primeros cuatro triángulos que aportarían un efecto chévere para armar la ilusión óptica al agregarle color. Este paso lo mostraré individualmente y agrupado en forma de GIF.

  Once I finished with the squares, I started making the first four triangles, which would add a cool effect to the optical illusion when I added color. I'll show this step individually and grouped together in a GIF.

  Para la medida de estos triángulos me guié por la imagen que compartí al inicio obtenida de Pinterest. En ella el cuadrado es de 24 x 24 cuadrículas o líneas. Y en la línea 12, conté de izquierda a derecha 6 cuadrículas y en la esquina del cuadrículo 7 hasta el centro fue lo que marqué la primera línea. Hice lo mismo de derecha a izquierda y repetí el patrón hasta obtener los 4 triángulos.

  To measure these triangles, I used the image I shared at the beginning, which I found on Pinterest. In it, the square is 24 x 24 grids or lines. On line 12, I counted 6 grids from left to right, and from the corner of grid 7 to the center, I marked the first line. I did the same from right to left and repeated the pattern until I had 4 triangles.

  Para el siguiente paso se dibujan los siguientes 4 triángulos, los cuales unidos forman una estrella de 4 puntas. Al igual que el paso anterior les compartiré las 4 fotos individuales y finalmente el GIF.

  For the next step, draw the following four triangles, which, when joined, form a four-pointed star. As with the previous step, I will share the four individual photos and finally the GIF.

  Como pueden observar, estos triángulos son inversos y van desde el centro del recuadro hasta la punta del cuarto recuadro contando del centro hacia afuera. Lo que significa que las puntas del mismo terminarán allí.

  As you can see, these triangles are inverted and extend from the center of the first square to the tip of the fourth square, counting outwards. This means that the points of the fourth square will end there.

  Ya luego viene mi parte favorita pero antes de mostrarles el primer toque de color quiero avisarles que cuando llegué al final de la primera parte del coloreado, quise terminar de abarcar las líneas que faltaban en los laterales, por lo que le agregué unas líneas más en negro y continué el efecto de los triángulos de acuerdo al patrón. Aquí les muestro un resumen visual de lo que les quiero decir.

  Next comes my favorite part, but before I show you the first touch of color, I want to let you know that when I finished the first part of the coloring, I wanted to complete the lines that were missing on the sides, so I added a few more black lines and continued the triangle effect according to the pattern. Here's a visual summary of what I mean.

  Now I'll show you the first complete design of this optical illusion, colored with orange as the first part.

  Para terminarlo elegí otro color que hiciera constraste y por supuesto que tuviera tinta pero como era de esperarse, me falló a mitad de camino y el dibujo me llevó más de lo que tenía previsto para terminarlo.

  To finish it, I chose another color that would create contrast and, of course, had ink, but as expected, it failed me halfway through, and the drawing took me longer than I had planned to finish.

  Y así quedó el resultado final. Una mezcla de triángulos, líneas y cuadrados entre un mundo azul oscuro y naranja.
