Saludos estimados Otakus de #TheAnimeRealm. Hoy vengo a darles mi opinión sobre el anime My Dress-Up Darling, una serie poco convencional que me atrapó con el primer capítulo así como Devil May Cry. Pero en este caso es una comedia romántica que abarca más que sólo este tema que parece tan trillado.
Greetings, fellow Otakus of #TheAnimeRealm. Today I'm here to give you my opinion on the anime My Dress-Up Darling, an unconventional series that captivated me from the first episode, much like Devil May Cry. But in this case, it's a romantic comedy that goes far beyond this seemingly overused theme.

Más que ser una historia típica romántica entre 2 adolescentes que se atraen mutuamente en algún momento, la historia cuenta mucho más ya que muestra la pasión que ambos protagonistas sienten hacia sus hobbies que son la artesanía de las muñecas Hina y de los Cosplays.

Rather than being a typical romantic story between two teenagers who are attracted to each other at some point, the story tells much more as it shows the passion that both protagonists feel towards their hobbies, which are the crafting of Hina dolls and Cosplays.
Una mezcla totalmente inusual y atípica que te hace querer ver cómo se despierta la química entre Wakana Gojo y Marin Kitagawa. Ambos mundos colisionan y lo digo así porque Kiragawa es en extremo extrovertida mientras que Gojo es todo lo contrario, un chico súper introvertido y que vive sólo en su mundo de las muñecas Hina sin amigos.
A totally unusual and atypical mix that makes you want to see how the chemistry between Wakana Gojo and Marin Kitagawa develops. Their worlds collide, and I say this because Kitagawa is extremely extroverted, while Gojo is the complete opposite—a super introverted boy who lives alone in his world of Hina dolls, with no friends.
Así que Kitagawa resulta ser la primera amiga real y respetuosa que llega a tener Gojo, ya que todos en la escuela lo creían raro por sentir tanta pasión al querer ser experto en elaborar las muñecas Hina como lo hace su abuelo.
So Kitagawa turns out to be the first real and respectful friend that Gojo has ever had, since everyone at school thought he was strange for feeling so passionate about wanting to be an expert at making Hina dolls, as his grandfather does.
Lo que me encantó de esta serie es que todo empieza con mucho respeto y admiración mutua, algo genuino, y aunque Kitagawa tiene varias amistades, no es la típica chica popular que trata a los demás de mala gana por no estar a su altura.
What I loved about this series is that it all starts with a lot of mutual respect and admiration, something genuine, and although Kitagawa has several friends, she is not the typical popular girl who treats others badly for not being up to her standards.
Gojo por su parte admiraba siempre a Kitagawa ya que ella llevaba una vida que él siempre anhelaba, con muchas amistades, sin embargo, al conocerla se da cuenta de que no hace falta tener tantos amigos para ser feliz, solo importa tener uno que te acepte tal cual eres para que surja una química increíble y verdadera que perdure en el tiempo.
Gojo, for his part, always admired Kitagawa because she led a life he always longed for, with many friends. However, upon meeting her, he realizes that you don't need so many friends to be happy; what matters is having one who accepts you as you are so that an incredible and true chemistry can emerge and last over time.
La serie se podría catalogar, además de comedia romántica, como algo con un toque pervertido ya que las situaciones en las que se involucra Gojo con diferentes chicas luego de conocer a Marín, pues resultan ser inusuales, únicas y muy divertidas de ver.
The series could be categorized, in addition to being a romantic comedy, as something with a perverted touch since the situations in which Gojo gets involved with different girls after meeting Marin turn out to be unusual, unique, and very funny to watch.
La serie me sacó unas cuantas carcajadas entre episodio y episodio, pero también me tocó mi corazoncito y me hizo enamorar de esta pareja atípica. Para mí son los más lindos que he visto luego de Sakura y Syaoran, o de Kagome e Inuyasha.
The series made me laugh out loud between episodes, but it also touched my heart and made me fall in love with this unusual couple. For me, they're the cutest couple I've seen since Sakura and Syaoran, or Kagome and Inuyasha.
Aparte, su diseño visual y artístico es deslumbrante, tiene muchos detalles no sólo con los personajes sino con los trajes que crea el protagonista para su amiga, la fluidez y el ambiente están siempre muy bien hechos.
Besides, its visual and artistic design is dazzling; it has many details not only with the characters but also with the outfits that the protagonist creates for his friend, the fluidity and the atmosphere are always very well done.
Su estilo gráfico me recordó mucho al de Violet Evergarden, sólo que sin tanta iluminación. La historia de romance es realmente tierna y me gustó tanto que quisiera ver cómo va evolucionando conforme avanzan los episodios.
Its art style reminded me a lot of Violet Evergarden, only without so much bright lighting. The romance is really sweet, and I liked it so much that I'd love to see how it develops as the episodes progress.
Por ahora he visto sólo la primera temporada que salió en el 2022 y este año está por estrenarse la segunda parte. La historia se desarrolla en un total de 12 episodios. Espero poder ver pronto la segunda temporada. De mi parte le otorgo sus 5 estrellas completas.
So far, I've only seen the first season, which came out in 2022, and the second season is due to premiere this year. The story unfolds over a total of 12 episodes. I hope to see the second season soon. I give it a full 5 stars.

De mis RomCom favoritos y sin excepción alguna. Tiene su excelencia tanto en la historia como en el desarrollo de los personajes principales. La relación de Marin y Gojo también me fascina bastante y el tema del Fanservice que dices es algo muy común en un RomCom, que no te sorprenda y menos en un anime como este que trata de cosplayers.
