Another Love Heart: Sowing Love, Pixel by Pixel【 🇪🇸 - 🇺🇸 】

  Lo primero que hice fue contar los recuadros para ubicar mi dibujo en lo que yo estimé que sería el centro de todo. Y esta vez quise hacer el boceto a lápiz para no equivocarme al colorear, con todo y eso cometí algunos errores cuando empecé a usar mis marcadores.

  The first thing I did was count the squares to place my drawing in what I estimated would be the center of everything. This time, I wanted to sketch in pencil so I wouldn't make any mistakes when coloring, even though I made a few mistakes when I started using my markers.

  Ya con el punto de inicio marcado y asegurado, lo que hice fue ir contando la cantidad de cuadritos dibujados por líneas, como les mostraré a continuación con un GIF hecho con Google Photos.

  With the starting point already marked and secured, what I did was count the number of squares drawn by lines, as I will show you below with a GIF made with Google Photos.

  Esto me facilitó bastante realizar el dibujo sin equivocarme tanto. Y menos mal que lo hice a lápiz primero porque cuando estaba empezando me salté una línea y no me daban los cuadritos que había contado. Recuerden que este tipo de dibujos requiere de la técnica de concentración total 🤣 para no equivocarse, pero al final lo que importa es divertirse dibujando.

  This made it much easier for me to complete the drawing without making too many mistakes. And it's a good thing I did it in pencil first, because when I was starting out, I skipped a line and couldn't get the squares I'd counted right. Remember that this type of drawing requires total concentration 🤣 to avoid mistakes, but in the end, what matters is having fun drawing.

  Lo que hice después fue resaltar cada cuadrito marcado con marcador negro y así tener completado mi boceto. Ya a partir de aquí empecé a agregarle color. Primero a las letras, luego al corazón y luego a todo lo demás.

  What I did next was highlight each square with a black marker, completing my sketch. From there, I started adding color. First to the letters, then to the heart, and then to everything else.

  Mi voz interior me decía que lo dejara hasta aquí pero la otra vocecita en mi cabeza me decía que siguiera echándole color, preferiblemente negro a todo el fondo pero, mis marcadores negros están de muerte lenta así que quedaría a mitad de camino y allí si se vería feo, así que elegí el rosado y un color rojo ocre.

  My inner voice told me to leave it there, but the other little voice in my head told me to keep adding color, preferably black for the entire background, but my black markers are dying, so it would end up halfway there, and it would look ugly, so I chose pink and a red ochre color.

  Luego de terminar el corazón así, empecé a usar el rojo ocre y asi fue como terminó quedando:

  Sigo creyendo que la elección de colores no fue la mejor que pude haber elegido, pero siempre es bueno intentar cosas nuevas y aprender de nuestros errores. Además, eran los colores que más tenían tinta, aunque no tenía mucho para elegir. Era eso o nada y yo quise ir con todo.

  I still think the color choice wasn't the best I could have made, but it's always good to try new things and learn from our mistakes. Additionally, they were the colors that had the most ink, even though I didn't have many options to choose from. It was that or nothing, and I wanted to go all out.

  Cuando lo vi completamente coloreado, sentí que le faltaba algo, así que le di protagonismo al color negro resaltando todos sus bordes con la esperanza de que se viera mejor y así fue.

  A mí me encantó cómo quedó. Le dio un toque más Minecraft y eso era exactamente lo que buscaba.   When I saw it fully colored, I felt like it was missing something, so I emphasized the black color by highlighting all the edges in the hopes that it would look better, and it did.
