Chelsea have finally and officially secure the signing of Jorrel Hero from Ajax.

The young Ajax defender who is 19 years have sign a 7 year contract at Stamford bridge. The defender who can play both at central defiance as well as left back would is a good signing for Chelsea as he will provide support to cucurella if not competition with him at all. Also with lack of consistency on chelsea central defiance, he could also serve as a better option for Enzo Maresca team. Hato chose to join chelsea despite interest from several clubs with the likes of Liverpool involve. The player came through the rank of Ajax and at just 19years has established himself as one of the European top defender.

Though with the richness of Chelsea with players at defiance, he is believed to have found a new home at Stamford bridge and he is happy with the move. With the arrival of Jorrel Hato, he become the major defensive signing for chelsea this season having secure the signing of midfielders and attackers. The signing has taken Chelsea summer spending to £250m.

It remain to be seen if the Hato could replicate the form he has been playing at Ajax or decline. However at just 19years he has the chance to write his name at the clubs history book with the likes of John Terry, Ashley Cole, Carvalho etc. Also his arrival has added to the number of young players at chelsea making them on of few clubs with the youngest team in Europe. As Chelsea fan my wish for Hato is that he will become a vital player for chelsea by contributing to he success of the club.

The Netherlands international will now join his new club team mate this week and take part in the preseason training and matches. Chelsea will be taken on Baryen Leverkusen on the 8th of August and AC Milan on the 10th of august 2days later after Bayern Leverkusen game. They will be playing their first premier league of the season at home against Crystal palace in the 17th August 2025. We can’t wait to start watching.
