[Writing Contest] Finish the Tale. Story #49 - My Wish on the Lantern

The New Year’s wish lantern rose into the sky and came back down with an answer tied to it

It is found inside the lantern, and I was shocked to see the answer from the wish I have written around the lantern. Surprisingly, it is not only lantern that is starting to come back down. There are also lanterns that are descending towards the ground and each of their reaction is similar to mine when they found out that there is an answer written inside the lantern.

I guess wishing to become rich and famous in the lantern is not going to bring a favorable luck as the answer that was written inside the lantern when it fell down is 'Work hard and Strive better'. It is a teachable moment back then and I can only say that I could have the similar wish among the other people that their lantern also fall down. It is beautiful night across the neighborhood with all the lanterns rising in the sky and although mine came back down to deliver a strong message. I can say that it is worth it to tell the New Year lantern my wish for this year.
