Gladiator cards can survive in the modern format.
For the first time I got a gladiator ruleset where I could summon my gladius cards. This is the first time I've been able to summon my gladius cards in modern format.

I was happy with Rusal but not sure how I'd perform in battle. But I'll try and strategize. The battle is a 36 mana cost battle. I don't have any low mana cost cards.
Chimney Wallstop
This unit costs 10 mana which is very high. Since it is a gladius card, it can be summoned very rarely in battle. The unit is level 1 which is max level 10. However, if the card has a melee attack, it is quite terrible. Because it has 5 melee attacks, the opponent can attack the first position.
If we talk about support, it is also okay. Because if the first position does not have high health and armor, no matter how good the unit is, it will die. However, this unit has 8 health, 3 armor and 1 speed as support, which is quite terrible. Even though this card costs 10 mana, it will cause havoc to the opponent in battle.
VENGEFUL MONK
Put another melee attack in the 2nd position so that if the first unit dies, this 2nd unit can continue the fight. Because without melee attacks, the opponent's melee attacks or first positions will become much stronger.
The unit is rare, also a natural unit. The card is level 1, and there are 8 levels in total. It costs 7 mana but has 2 melee attacks which is quite good. It has 4 health as support, 2 speed which makes the unit stronger. It also has 1 ability.
ASH ARCHERP
I always try to keep melee, ranged and magic attacks in a battle. The first 2 units are melee attacks which are quite good and will play a big role in the battle. I have kept the 3rd unit as magic attack.
This unit costs 5 mana. Level 1 which has up to 3. Also, it shows Foundation from level 4-6 but I don't know about this. It has 2 ranged as attack and 3 health and 2 speed as support. This fire unit can sustain the team in the battle. It has no other abilities.
CHAOS EVOKER
After arranging the ranged attack unit, the mana cost is low, since I can call 1 more unit, so I will choose magic attack. This unit will help a little, if this unit can attack 3-4 times then the match will be easier. Because magic attack directly hits the armor.
This unit has 2 magic attacks which are quite good. It has 1 armor, 2 health and 3 speed as support. This magic attack can perform well in battle.
After taking 4 units, I saw that the opponent had set up a team with the same attack power as me. However, I had a better first unit. I thought I would win this match easily.
At first, as soon as the battle started, my units started attacking. However, I lost my ranged attack unit in the first round. Losing my unit in the first round made the match very difficult.

The story takes place in the 2nd round. In the 2nd round, the opponent loses 1 melee attack unit. However, towards the end of the 2nd round, my first position and most powerful and reliable unit dies. With the 5 melee attack units dead, I have 2 more units. The 5 melee attack makes the first position card miss 1 attack. As a result, the match becomes more difficult.

In round 3, I killed 2 units on the opponent. And now the match becomes easy. The opponent's ranged attack comes in the first position, which makes it easy for me to win the match. In the end, I have an advantage by keeping my magic and melee attack in the second position.

Some ways to win the match
If I was going to win this match easily, the opponent killed my strong first position and ranged attack. In addition, I had an attack opportunity before my first position died, but missed the attack. This made the match even more difficult.
However, in the 3rd round, my melee attack and magic attack performed well.
If the opponent had not kept his ranged attack intact, I would not have won the match. If my magic unit had been attacked once, I would have lost the match. However, at such a time, the opponent's melee attack died when the magic attack went to the first position, which is why it could not attack anymore.
However, even though the magic attack can attack from any position, my melee attack survived, so it only attacked the first position. When the opponent's magic attack died, the ranged attack would only attack the first position. The match is over, because the opponent's first melee attacks die first.
Not every strong team can win the match. The match can change for various reasons. However, some good tactics can win the match.
