Earthquake Ruleset Is The Earthquake Modifier So Scary?
How are you, dear splinterlands gamers? The game is as easy to play as it is enjoyable and can be a great way to earn money. It cannot be called passive income, but it is possible to earn a good amount of money from here.
New events, new cards, everything in the game has made the game exciting. The number of new users at this time is also increasing day by day, which is really a good thing. To play the game or enter the game, there is a rule set or modifier. We all know how important modifiers are in the game.
Today I am writing about the splinterlands community engagement challenge competition. To know all the rules and regulations about this competition and to participate, see the post below splinterlands community engagement challenge
There are many things needed to play the game. There is no alternative to cards, but you can summon which units, and which cards you need to summon with which strategies. If you do not have a little knowledge of all these things, then it becomes difficult to win the game.
The ruleset that I will talk about today is the Earthquake ruleset. If we take a look at the Earthquake ruleset, we will see that it deals two health damage to all units at the beginning of each round.

EARTHQUAKE: All non flying and snared units take 2 physical damage at the beginning of each round, starting round 2.
Each round, the trapped unit and all units suffer two health or physical damage. However, it does damage at the beginning of each round from the second round. Such a modifier can actually turn the tide of battle at any time.
This modifier inflicts two physical damage to all units every round, i.e. from the beginning of the second round. And if there is armor or shield, it can be reduced to one, i.e. one damage.
The plus point here is that if the opponent does not know this by strategy, then he is definitely more likely to lose the match. My archon gives each of my units one speed or speed.
The speed or speed point of each of my cards increases by one for each unit and the strategy was quite good in battle. Although each of my units would have increased one armor or shield if this archon was there, I did not have it.
Instead, I get one speed increase for each unit due to my archon, which allows me to strike faster in battle. I don't have the original strategy but here my magic attack is helping me because it will do direct physical damage without hitting the opponent's armor so I adopted the opposite strategy.
Since almost every unit of mine had armor so I wanted to keep it as speed support so my strategy was everything so I won the battle easily. Although the battle became a little difficult.
The opponent has arranged the strategy according to the rules set. The opponent has brought archon which has increased the shield of each unit by one. The opponent has tried to use what other strategy he has.
I managed to summon five units in a battle for 46 mana cost. I tried to keep the speed of each unit by speed and put armor on each unit so that the strategy of the rules set works at least a little.

The first round was going pretty well, but towards the end or middle of the first round my ranged attack unit died which made it a bit difficult. My unit in second position had a melee attack and a magic attack which allowed it to perform well.

The game starts when the second round ends. I have already destroyed one of the opponent's units. Since everyone's health was low in the second round, the two hits in the second round make each unit in a bad state.
And at this time, my opponent is also in a very bad state. However, since one of my units has high health, it is still alive in the match. My first position attack, that is, melee attack, dies, which makes my team a little weaker.

In the third round, when the rule set dealt two physical damage each, the opponent's only two units were left alive, and those two units were instantly destroyed. Since one of my units had good health, I won the battle. Apart from that, there were many other strategies that helped a lot.
Although one of my units died, the physical damage of the second round rule set was quite useful. And thus I won easily.

If this earthquake modifier is against you, the strategy you can adopt is:
If you have more armor or shield cards or units, then organize the team with those units.
Also, organize the team with cards that have more speed or speed, as well as choose an archon that has armor or speed in your archon.
And try to keep the magic attack as good as possible, then you can easily win the battle. And I actually like this ruleset very much.
