Infinity Castle—Peak Cinema

I finally got to watch the Demon Slayer infinity castle movie and woah. The animation—which we’re all aware of—deserves whatever praise it’s getting and so much more.

I was never really a fan fan of demon slayer, I thought the storyline was too simple and got irritated with the backstory but the backstory of this one character in infinity castle was enough to make me loosen up on my irritation.

There was this certain time, I was talking to my friend about the chainsaw man movie, and he kept on complaining that he wanted more of it and he’d forgotten that that was how anime movies were. It is being centered on one main fight as a whole arc. Well, this demon slayer movie had three fights and although I was so excited to watch Zenitsu fight, the battle between Akaza, Giyu and Tanjiro topped every other fight and raised the scale so high up. The animation made it so much more, I couldn’t even grasp a single thing wrong with it.

I like movies like this. I like feeling goosebumps all over my skin whenever I’m watching something. It means it’s so so good that my body couldn’t help but respond to its glory. And then, that insect hashira. Although, her death was traumatizing, I was sure she was going to lose. Cause that’s just how life is sometimes. And someone please spoil it, don’t spoil it, but the upper moon that fought her, he doesn’t have a sad sob story right? I sense he’s just a psychopath

Oh and Akaza. I was so attentive during his backstory. At first, my initial thought was to fast forward but I stopped because he was so beautiful when he was human. And then, his story was so sad and I couldn’t help but sob a little and feel so sad for me, because he didn’t choose to become a demon like the guy Zenitsu fought. This was just life giving it to him really hard and he got forced into doing a lot of things that went against every morale in his body. I got teary. I don’t think I like getting teary when watching movies.

And ugh, the next movie is 2027? Is this perhaps a repeat of spider man? Every two to three years?! It is well.

It was such a good movie and I’m glad I saw it.
