She acknowledged that conflict will always occur in any organization, which is true because where two or three people are working together, there is bound to be conflict. This is due to the fact that individuals come from different backgrounds, have different mindsets, and hold varying belief patterns. Therefore, conflict is inevitable.

However, her main focus was not on the presence of conflict but on how it could be managed or resolved in a way that allows the organization to still achieve its goals.

As a result, she developed a theory in which she advocated for the integration approach to conflict, where both parties work together to find a solution that satisfies both sides.

This theory is widely applied in various organizations, including schools. Mary Parker Follett is the theorist and the proponent of this theory.
