Hello everyone and welcome back to my Splinterlands blog, it's a Sunday today and at the time of writing the End of Season is still 3 days away, but making this post takes some time, which I don't always have because of irregular work hours,so it's time to prepare to make another wrap up and compare it with the last one.

I've just played my energy down all the way to 0, so by the time it regenerates there's only one day left in the season, perfect to grind it down as far as possible so I can hopefully skip the first day of the new season, but let's see how my free time is in the work week and maybe there's a maintenance window in the way again as well...

On my previous season report I earned 211k Glint, this season I am at 240k Glint so that's a nice increase from two steady seasons in a row but this also has something to do with the fact I bought 9k more SPS in the last weeks because I think it's a good long term investment.

I played a total of 347 battles this season vs. 312 last season with a win rate of 49.6% vs. 49.4% last season, pretty consistent win rate, the maintenance last Tuesday was really short so I was able to play one day extra, plus some additional matches here and there because I had a little more time to spend on playing.

I also started to track how much SPS I have per account so I can see how much I earn.

I went from 18,672 to 28,570 but to be precise I bought 8678 SPS in the last week, which comes down to a total of 1220 SPS I earned this season with ranked play and brawls for this account, at current value that's about $12 for playing a game! 🤑

The price of SPS has retraced a little after the hype from last weeks, which is perfectly fine, it can't go up in a straight line. It's better to have a slow and steady climb up from here, with some pullbacks (to buy more!) than an aggressive pump followed by a dump.

With my Gold account I still have some energy to grind trough but that's because my additional 50k sps I rent has expired and my new offer hasn't been filled just yet, so I was hoping by now it will be filled. I'll play it down to at least enough so it won't get to 50 before I'm home tomorrow.

Last season I played 293 battles vs. 270 so far this season, but I think I will end up playing around 300 again. A consistent win rate again, 49.6% now vs. 49.5% last season.
Glint total was 150k last season, vs. 126k so far this season. Missing the SPS rental now for the last day doesn't help with matching this so I think I will earn a little bit less.

My bag of SPS went from 101,334 last season to 102,418 now which is an increase of 1084 SPS from ranked play and brawls, nothing else! Which is another $10 earned at current SPS price.

Spending Glint

My glint spending strategy hasn't changed, for @nozem01, this account will play Wild League by XBOT after the rotation with my max Archons, I'm at level 7 and 8 commons, level 6 rares, level 3 and 4 epics and only at level 1 legendary cards except for my Gold Foil Legendary Chaos Battle Mage so there's still a lot I need to get it to max level, so again, I'm buying a bit of everything with the earned glint.

I was planning to let Archmage run this account after the rotation but because it kept surrendering in Survival Mode (I have a LOT of level 1 cards, so not the best teams but it should be able to at least play and not surrender) so I bought an XBOT token to test it out and it's a lot more advanced and even let me auto harvest my land plots when I forget to do this manually, it's awesome!
XBOT also takes a lot less SPS, 20% compared to 35% for Archmage.

For @nozem, the account I will manually play in modern after the rotation, I have all commons, rares and epics at max Silver level, where I plan on playing at. So I'm still working on the legendary cards to get to level 2, which is a pretty slow going thing, every legendary draw costing 35k glint so I can 'only' get 6 or 7 every season and then still have to get lucky to pull the right ones.
So far, most of them are at 2 CC at the moment, so close the leveling up to level 2. I was able to get the Death Ranger to level 2 with last season's draws, which is pretty nice, giving it close range, it's a great card for little league in the new modern league!
