Well being in IT (in America at least) pulling all nights is not crazy. We have to migrate servers after work hours. Like so a Hospital needs to upgrade it's Heart Monitor software... well we don't want to do it at like 3pm when more people are actively in the hospital getting treatment. So we schedule it for 11pm and it goes until say 5am to make sure its working before the day starts back up. Sort of thing.
So all nighters are not crazy, but the taking 2 planes and getting delayed and all that... yeah this take a toll on your body.
Being at home for 48 hours of work is 1 thing. But being away from home in a city where... well were crazy government shit is happening.. is not very calm for the body.
