Hive Power Up Day, January 1st 2026

I have noticed that every 1st day of the month is Hive Power-Up Day (HPUD) where users are expected to make power ups of their $HIVE and $HBD. It seems like this has been going on for a long while now, even though I recently noticed it.

This is actually my first intentional participation in the trend of HPUD and I hope to continue with it every month till the rest of the year. This is one of the most important trend in the Hive ecosystem and I hope everyone gets to see the advantage it brings.

From the screenshots I got above, I made a power up of 200 Hive for the 1st month of the New Year, and I am envisioning a 10x to my Hive power before the end of this new year.

I also observed that some people are complaining about the continues downtrend in some of the cryptocurrencies at this time, but how many of you are taking advantage of the season?

The cryptocurrency ecosystem is mostly decentralized, hence we should expect it to continually fluctuate based on different factors including the emotions of majority of it's holders.

The fact remains that what goes up must come down and vice-versa. This is actually the best and easiest time to buy and gather as many coin/token as you can, so why not now.

From the screenshot above, you can see that the Hive coin was at its 2025's All-Time-High at around 6th of January 2025 (Exactly around 1 year ago). And from the chart, we should be expecting a significant uptrend (Higher Highs) in 2026 moving forward.
