Victor Osimhen Rejects AL Hilal Move
Good day, everyone, and welcome to another transfer news. Yesterday I made a post about Victor Osimhen's possible move to Saudi Arabia side Al Hilal this summer. The Saudi club was high on the deal to sign Osimhen this summer and even booked his medicals once the Nigerian forward gave the green light to the club. Al Hilal was advanced in the deal as the already-done club-to-club negotiation with Napoli for 75 million euros to pay for the signing of Victor Osimhen this summer. It was up to Victor Osimhen to give the final green light, and then everything would fall into place to make it official.
Yesterday evening, it was confirmed by Fabrizio Romano that Victor Osimhen has rejected Al Hilal's proposal on personal terms as the Nigerian striker doesn't want the love of Saudi Arabia even with the high salary that Al Hilal put on the table. It's kind of funny how this saga is playing out because earlier yesterday Sky Sports reported that Victor Osimhen has already accepted Al Hilal's offer and is expected to sign for the club soon, but Fabrizio Romano didn't give the here-we-go announcement on his page which just shows how Fabrizio Romano reports are 100% accurate.
Victor Osimhen rejecting the Al Hilal proposal confirms that the race to sign Osimhen is still on for any clubs in Europe who are interested in getting the Nigerian striker this summer. Galatasaray is still in the picture and is working on ways to get Osimhen permanently to the club this summer. In my post yesterday I suggested that Osimhen take the move to Al Hilal because of the money he will be receiving and since no European club is ready to accept his demand for the salary he is requesting since they don't know his worth, but the Nigerian striker still has plans to stay in Europe.
Galatasaray is the only club that is in the race now to sign Osimhen, and I am sure as the week goes on, there should be more contacts from other clubs, or rather, Napoli could change their mind and keep him at the club because he is still under contract. Liverpool could still enter the race to sign Victor Osimhen, but the thing is, will they be willing to add Victor Osimhen's salary to their wage list? I have seen from multiple sources that Florian Wirtz will be earning up to 350k euros. It is up to the club to decide, but I doubt they will push since it's looking like Darwin Nunez will be staying at Liverpool next season, which I will cover in another post.
Chelsea on the other hand could still enter the race to sign him, but there has not even been a rumour about a possible contact from Chelsea to Osimhen's camp and it may well mean that the Blues are not interested in signing Osimhen, but we will see as the summer is still long and as it stands now no one knows the likely destination of Victor Osimhen's next season. The Nigerian striker is one to be watched this summer and I will be following updates for more information on his possible exit from Napoli this summer window.
Chelsea FC should just get him quickly.
The question is, is Chelsea ready to pay him what he wants? It doesn't seem like they have interest anymore, as there is no contact from the club yet this summer.

He is playing for passion not for money. I like his decision
It seems like it, and I would like to see how his story ends this summer; he could stay at Galatasaray or move to a top European club.
Good thing
he should head for England
