Real Madrid El Clasico Dilemma

The Copa Del Rey final between Barcelona and Real Madrid is expected to be played tomorrow, but for the past one and a half hours, some changes are happening, and we have not even entered the next day for the match. Real Madrid has staged a campaign on Real Madrid TV about referee De Burgos Bengoetxea who is expected to be the referee for the match tomorrow. They have said the referee is biased and has favoured Barcelona more, which is why they don't want him officiating the match tomorrow.

Real Madrid went as far as writing a letter to the RFEF requesting De Burgos Bengoetxea to be replaced by another referee for tomorrow's match. De Burgos Bengoetxea, in a press conference, has shared that his family is going through the heat since Real Madrid made that statement, as his son has been told in school that his father is a thief, which is not a word any child needs to hear about their parents. The RFEF has declined Real Madrid's letter to change the referee for tomorrow's match, and the European giants are not pleased with the response from the RFEF.

Real Madrid has now decided not to do a press conference or partake in dinner this evening, which has been a routine that has been done for years, and now Real Madrid is backing out of the tradition just because they don't want De Burgos Bengoetxea to officiate the match tomorrow. It is absurd what Real Madrid is doing, and I don't get why they think the world revolves around them as if they can have their way with anything and go scot-free. I am impressed with the RFEF decision to still allow De Burgos Bengoetxea to officiate the match tomorrow as that sends a strong message that they won't be intimidated by the club.

It is being rumoured now that Real Madrid is planning not to play in the match tomorrow if the referee is not changed, and it is just pathetic at this point. I vividly remember when Xavi( former Barcelona coach) used to complain about the poor officiating from the referee. He was called a joke by Real Madrid fans, and even Ancelotti said he wouldn't bring himself to the level of complaining about the referee, but this season, he has done that, which is funny. Real Madrid is pushing too far on this matter, and I just hope Barcelona gets the 3-0 win by default if Real Madrid doesn't play tomorrow.

It's going to be a long night because I am sure there is still more to this issue. Real Madrid is building up to the El Clasico tomorrow, and I see it as a mind game to throw Barcelona off before the match tomorrow. FC Barcelona is set for tomorrow and no official statement from the club or Hansi Flick has said anything about the issue. There will be a development soon, so I will be keeping myself updated on the news. So, guys, I will drop my pen for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good evening.
