Luis Diaz Is One To Watch This Summer

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The story of Luis Diaz this summer still continues as there is a possibility that the Colombian winger will leave the club this summer. FC Barcelona are more likely out of the race since the signing of Marcus Rashford has been confirmed by the club. The Colombian winger has been their dream target since January. However, according to multiple sources, the deal became complicated for Barcelona as Liverpool is still making its ground on not selling. Internally within Liverpool, Luis Diaz is valued at more than 80 million euros.

FC Barcelona were willing to negotiate for a fee of 60 million euros, but since club-to-club talks didn't even start it began to become complicated for the club. Barcelona sporting director Deco was in active talks with Luis Diaz's agent, and I think it's one of the reasons that Luis Diaz is keen on leaving Liverpool this summer. The Colombian winger still welcomes the idea of leaving the Reds this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, and the club that is in the front-runner to sign the player is Bayern Munich. Saudi clubs will be in the race without a doubt since they have more money to spend.

Bayern Munich, as of last week, submitted a bid of 67 million, which was rejected by Liverpool as they still kept their stance of not selling the Colombian winger, but things have taken a new turn as Luis Diaz is open to joining Bayern Munich this summer. There is no news about personal terms being reached with Bayern Munich yet, but since he is open to the move contacts will have already been made with his agent. There are more reports that Bayern Munich are going to improve their bid soon as it is expected to be 80 million euros or more in the coming days.

Bayern Munich desperately need a winger this summer and Luis Diaz is the main name on their list of wingers. This deal, from my take, is on a 70% chance of happening if the Colombian is keen on joining. It's just a matter of time before Liverpool gives in and agrees to enter talks with Bayern Munich. There is still some time to get things done, and Liverpool will want to fancy a sale, which could give them up to 80 million euros, but again, it depends on what the club decides, and if Diaz is looking elsewhere, there is no point stopping him from wanting to try another chapter.

There is a lot more to come in this story in the coming weeks, and like I said, there is a 70% chance that Luis Diaz will be leaving Liverpool this summer. The Colombian winger is part of the squad for the ongoing preseason tour, and there was speculation that he was not going to join because of the saga related to his possible exit, which now proves the news is false. The window is still open, and anything can happen, so we will see how things move on from this point in the coming weeks.
