From this perspective, being a good person or a bad person depends on the mentality of the person
I agree with u..our mentality play a big role on how we act , either for good or bad depending on what we believe
And while being literate can influence a person not to choose the wrong path, it also can have no influence on another . The knowledge the literate person have may make no meaning to him but rather he act as it pleases him regardless of the consequences of his actions of which he is aware of because he is knowledgeable

It's all depends on the choice we make. Literacy can only boost the thing what we want to do. If we want to do good thing it help to make it better and in case of evil thing it can make the thing worse for others.
