Back to the Mall...Times Two

I have never been a fan of malls for a long time now, so that after yesterday's adventure in two malls in Makati City, I was surprised to once again find myself roaming two malls today for various purposes.

I first went to SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City after bringing my mother to a day-long meeting with her colleagues in her religious organization cum foundation. I was wary of going back to the house even if there was time because once I'm back home, I am too lazy to go back out again. So I decided to just stay out while waiting for her.

I first had breakfast at a Subway restaurant at a nearby gas station. Once mall hours began, I then headed to SM MOA.

As it was still early, coupled with the fact that it is a Monday, there were very few people inside. The parking area had a lot of vacant spaces.

Every time I see a Pop Mart stall or product, I am reminded of my sister as she is very fond of it. I have to show her this full-blown store which I have never seen before.

In the cinema, there were quite some people lining up. I believe these stormtroopers are permanent displays.

As I went to relieve my bladder, I was giggling at the "Little Boy" sign, as it could have a double meaning.

A trip to the Toy Kingdom was also in order, of course.

The containers of the Marvel ZD Toys are good multi-purpose "tupperwares." Also good for bringing the figures themselves along trips.

Didn't know that there was a Monopoly Batman edition. Very curious.

And Cluedo, a game we enjoyed when we were young, seems to have been updated for the times.

Afterwards, I had beef udon at a local Japanese place.

With extra egg and iced tea.

Delicious condiments.

Didn't scrimp on the onion leeks and tempura flakes. But what is that wasabi doing there?!?

After fetching my mother, I proceeded to go to another mall to check out some books and meet a friend. I will deal with that in the next post.

These trips always make me glad to be alive!
