Hashtags

Hashtags allow us to filter content by topic and intention, and can even trigger some features.

These are the most common ones, used on Threads, with unique meanings and uses on INLEO. You'll find more related to different topics and communities as you explore.

#Feedback

For messages to the INLEO Team (bug reports, suggestions, appreciation, questions about the platform), use this hashtag. They check it daily for feedback. Be as detailed as possible. If you are reporting a bug, take screenshots, mention which login method you are using, which device, and which browser. It helps the developers recreate the issue and fix it.

#Threadcast

Using the hashtag #threadcast on your main thread turns on features like updating the comments every 5 seconds, showing the latest comment first, and a purple bubble around participants’ profile pictures indicating live chatting.

Anyone can create a threadcast about any topic. Those created by Premium users will be promoted at the top of the page.

Threadcasts can function on their own or be used as the chat section for a X Space or a YouTube live.

Note: Only use this tag if you want to create a threadcast, not inside one or to talk about them.

#Threadstorm

Use this tag to indicate your message continues in the next comments. Add 1/🧵 or 1/# if you know the total number of threads.

To add a new comment to the threadstorm, always reply to the first thread.

#Outreach

This tag is used to promote your articles in a #threadstorm that is at least 3 threads long. Our curators look into this tag to find amazing posts and support them!

For post promotion, the link to your post must be on the last thread of the threadstorm.

#AskOnLeo

This is a community-driven initiative where anyone can ask any kind of questions, and the community will reply. The questions can be about INLEO or about other random topics like asking for recipe suggestions.

#Polls

You can create polls in your threads about any topic and use the hashtag #polls for yours to be shown with the others when people explore this tag.

The tag is not needed to create a poll, but it helps users find them.

#NewsOnLeo

This tag is used by Lions to share news on INLEO. You can share them too by sharing a piece of news in a main thread and then replying with the link to the original source!

Leo Power Up Day (LPUD)

This is a community event held every 15th of the month where the community powers up (stakes) $LEO. If you stake more than 150 $LEO, you earn a badge and participate in a draft for LP delegations.

Other tips that are good to know:

• You don't need to use the tags #inleo or #threads all the time.
• Only YouTube links can be shared in a top-level thread; any other link needs to be shared as a reply (to avoid spam).
• All community pages have their own Threads section explore communities here.
• Do not use HTML code on Threads, or it will give you an error.
• You can jump into any of the threadcasts—they are not private.
• You can go to settings and claim your keys when you are ready.
