The Road Leading To My Destination

The map showed a road that didn’t exist yesterday. I started this road trip with the goal of clearing my mind of work stress, but now my adventurous spirit makes me want to get lost on the road and go as far as I can.

I started the car engine, ready to explore the new road that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. As I drove along the road, the landscape changed; the desert turned into green meadows, and birdsong accompanied me on my journey. With every mile, I moved further and further away from the past, burning with the desire to lose myself in the excitement of exploring the unknown.

Suddenly, a stop sign marked the beginning of an unpaved road. Without thinking, I drove on. The road led me to a lake hidden among the trees, its waters reflecting a clear sky. In that moment, I realized that I was not only looking for an escape, but also to find myself along the way.

And so, the trip was not only an unbridled freedom, but also a profound discovery: sometimes, getting lost is the first step toward finding yourself.
