At 11:59 p.m., every phone in the city received the same message. It said, "Wake up" and the sender's number was unknown.
At first, it seemed strange, but the next day, the same thing happened again at the same time, but all over the world. The same message appeared on every messaging device on the planet, and that's when it became international news.
The media and intelligence agencies were searching for answers. No one could trace the origin of the phone number... And then, there was a third global message, but this time it said something different: "You are trapped in a simulation; you must wake up"
That last message unleashed panic and uncertainty among the population. Conspiracy theorists took to the streets, claiming we were in a computer simulation. No one could confirm or deny that it was real. So, the anonymous messages continue to be a topic of discussion.
