Rakko, The Raccoon | A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Rakko was a small raccoon who poked his snout out from among the bushes. From the safety of the forest, he saw asphalt and perfectly trimmed grass in front of him.

In this new world, hunger drove his short legs, guiding him through the neighborhood to a shiny trash bin.

With the agility of an acrobat, he climbed up the side of the container and managed to remove the lid. Inside, he found pizza crust, chicken scraps, and a piece of apple.

Suddenly, the roar of a lawnmower made him shudder. A man with a thick mustache and a straw hat stopped the machine upon seeing the mess scattered across his garden.

"Get out of here!" shouted the old man as he waved his arms and ran toward the raccoon.

Rakko leapt backward, landing on all four paws with a piece of pizza in his mouth. The man chased him along the sidewalk, but Rakko was much faster. Within seconds, he slipped back into the thicket of the forest.
