Black spots in every corner | My Entry For The Shadow Hunters Contest Smash ~ Round 417
We’re surrounded, Shadowhunters.
There are days when the darkness feels immense and suffocating, so cold that it freezes everything around it, no matter how bright the sun shines. These are dark times—that’s undeniable—but I’ll tell you this: As long as we can fight, we haven’t been defeated yet, and as long as we haven’t been defeated, we can still win.
I’ve realized a disturbing fact: the shadows are following our footsteps, tracking us discreetly—they’re not lurking in silence with unknown intentions. Luckily... as long as they’re watching us, they’re easy prey.
We can do this; we can capture them all. Those shadows have grown in number, but they’ve let their guard down—that translates to a golden opportunity for a hunter.
This hunting season is getting more and more interesting; suddenly, the wind is blowing in our favor.
No matter what happens, we’re ready to overcome any obstacle. Because we’re the best Shadow Hunters, and we’ll prove it in this round.
If we all contribute to the cause, more hunters will join our ranks. It’s only a matter of time before we become a legion of hunters.
We, the Shadow Hunters, are the light of the world. In this community, we illuminate those who lie lost in the darkness.
We will all reach Round 500 together, and by then, we will have become the experts we aspire to be: elite Shadowhunters.

At the entrance to a humble home, shadows wait for the right moment to slip through the door. Moving slowly, they wait in a corner and climb step by step to reach their goal. You have to be on your guard, for they are very patient intruders looking for an excuse to invade.

The abstract nature of the shadows grows increasingly bizarre. It’s hard to say whether these manifestations are the product of collective nightmares or simply beings that closely resemble black spots.
The mystery of the shadows remains unsolved. Who will be able to solve it?
📷 “A metal arm?”
What do our eyes see? Is it an optical illusion? It looks as though the shadows have bent a perfectly straight structure—but how is that possible?
Perhaps that structure isn’t from our world; the fact that it’s black already makes it quite suspicious.
