Hello, Splinterlands fans. I’m bringing you the latest updates on my adventures in one of the most popular games on the Hive Blockchain. This has been one of the best days I’ve had in Splinterlands—so far—thanks to everything I’m going to tell you about later. In short, I’ve earned a card, plus a few more by leveling up in Frontier, and I bought another card of equal value as well. Both the rewards and the investments are all part of a bigger goal and benefit.

En resumen, he ganado una carta, otras cartas más al subir de rango en Frontier y me compré una carta igual de valiosa también. I Won a Jolius Blast
Let’s start with some news that made my day: thanks to a contest I entered this week, I managed to win a copy of Jolius Blast. The contest I’m talking about was organized by our fellow player @iblast, who, in his latest post, told us about his foray into Frontier and ended by inviting us to participate in a little “Flash Giveaway” where participants would win a Jolius Blast card—which I did, and I ended up winning one.
I loved taking part because all I had to do was what I always do in Splinterlands: play and win battles in the different areas. I was lucky to have managed to win the three matches required for the giveaway and thus qualify to participate. When I got the card, I felt fulfilled and quite lucky, since it’s a card that, apparently, is very useful in battles—and you can tell that from its stats. The Jolius Blast (Djinn) is a Foundation edition Unit with a RARE rarity, 13 mana points, 12 health points, 3 speed points, and 3 melee attack points.
Empecemos con una notificación que me hizo el día: gracias a un concurso en el cual participé esta semana, conseguí ganarme una copia del Jolius Blast. Este concurso del cual les hablo es uno que realizó nuestro compañero y jugador @iblast quien en su última publicación nos habló de su incursión en Frontier y al final nos invitó a participar en un pequeño “Sorteo Flash” donde los que participaban ganaríamos una carta Jolius Blast, cosa que hice y obtuve posteriormente.
Me encantó haber participado ya que no tenía que hacer más que lo que siempre hago en Splinterlands: jugar y ganar en batallas en las diferentes áreas. Tuve suerte de haber logrado conseguir las tres partidas ganadas para el sorteo y así participar. Al obtener la carta me sentí realizado y bastante afortunado ya que es una carta que, por lo visto, tiene mucha utilidad en batallas y eso se puede notar con las estadísticas que tiene. El Jolius Blast (Djinn) es una Unidad, edición Foundation, de rareza RARA con 13 puntos de maná, 12 puntos de vida, 3 puntos de velocidad y 3 puntos de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo.

Gold I in Frontier
Thanks to this great news, I was motivated to play ranked matches today with full enthusiasm until I came across another pleasant surprise: I leveled up in Frontier. I’ve worked really hard to stay active in ranked play with the few Foundation cards I have, so I’m excited to see the results of my hard work and consistency in Splinterlands. When I logged into Frontier, I found out that I’d managed to climb to Gold I. That news was exciting, but not as exciting as the rewards I received for it.
Among the dozens of Energy points I received, I also earned five Foundation cards as rewards: two Common cards, two Rare cards, and one Golden Epic. That’s right, folks—I earned a golden card with this major rank-up in Frontier. Also, one of those two Rare cards is an Archon, which is really great.
Gracias a esta gran noticia, me motivé a rankear hoy con toda motivación hasta que me topé con otra grata sorpresa: subí de nivel en Frontier. Me he esforzado mucho en estar activo rankeando con las pocas cartas que tengo de Foundation, así que me emociona ver los resultados de mi duro trabajo y constancia en Splinterlands. I got a Foundation Edition card—a COMMON but GOLD-colored unit named Aimee Wisperwind (Leonine)—a Level 3 card with 9 mana points, 5 health points, 5 speed points, and 3 attack points.
