RE: 📺 2026 Anime Series #1 Review | Attack On Titan Season 1 (2013)

That list of anime that are "Masterpieces" is kind of weird, especially because they put Attack on Titan in first place. AI definitely has a long way to go to fully understand what a masterpiece truly is. I'm not saying AOT doesn't deserve to be on that list, but putting it so high up is excessive.

Let's just say that the only reason, for me, that this anime has that makes it one step close to being a Masterpiece, but at the same time not quite, is because of its BLESSED ending. 🥴 Honestly, the ending of this story is a complete disappointment. But anyway, I won't give you any spoilers. I want to see what you think of the following seasons and the finale, the very end (parts 1, 2, 3 and the finale) and the final movie, so I can give your complete verdict. 😅

Good review.

I now finished the 2nd season as it was only 12 episodes and am doubting to continue to be honest. I enjoyed the world building and how it kind of sucked me in from the first season. Now though, everything kind of feels too far fetched how so many of the humans all of a sudden can transform into titans without too much explaination yet. One detail that also really annoys me for some reason is how the physics of the ropes they use work as they just keep moving forward with them in a way that is just impossible and I can't get over that.

Yes... Well, it's fiction in the end, you shouldn't look for so much logic in everything you see. But yes, it's normal to have your doubts and questions regarding the transformations and all that. In the third season, if I'm not mistaken, all of that will be revealed along with the secret of Eren's family and what's inside the walls, etc. You still have a lot to see. 🥴
