RE: Penny-Pinching & Naira-Nudging: Our Global Quest for Savings!

I like to save. I've been doing it since I was little. But I save to spend: I saved to buy a car, to go on a trip, even to study outside my city. My parents taught me the benefits of saving and working. In order to have things, I had to work: washing the car, cleaning the roof, fetching water. But how do we save when money is tight? By doing just what you say: making the food we're only going to eat, and if there's any left over, saving it for the next day; buying second-hand things and spacing out nights out. In Venezuela, it was normal that when a party was held, the host put everything: food, drinks. Now it is customary for the guests to help with the celebration: bring a bottle, something to eat, etc. There are always ways to save and if you do it little by little, we hardly notice. Greetings
