Whispers of Nature: The Beauty of Flowers

The flower in this picture is called Sandhyamani. In English, it is called Mirabilis jalapa or Four O’clock Flower. This flower blooms in the afternoon, hence the name.

These dark pink flowers not only exude beauty, but also create a sweet dialogue with nature. Its fragrance mixes with the evening air and brings a kind of softness.

Another wonderful aspect of this flower is that — a single plant can have flowers of more than one color! Truly, how beautiful nature is!

The small beauties of nature sometimes bring us the most joy. Today, this beautiful pink cut flower caught my eye. Its soft pink petals and bright center amidst fresh green leaves seem to convey a unique beauty.

A small flower, yet it brightens up the surroundings!

Not all trees in nature have bright colors. Some trees, like this wild plant, blend in quietly with their surroundings, their beauty subtle and unassuming.

Its slender stems, brown-green leaves, and clusters of small, thorny flowers symbolize a kind of vitality. This type of plant grows naturally in many parts of rural Bengal and is sometimes eaten as a vegetable.

A dazzling gourd flower fills the morning with freshness and vitality. Its dark yellow petals and intricate center are like a call to new life.
Hidden within the folds of its delicate petals is a brave story — a drop, attracting life, and one day taking the form of a fruit.
