What does it take for a drug addict to say, I've had enough?
I think about my sister and the things that had happened to her, and she still chose the drugs. But one day she did quit them and has now been clean for over 20 years. So I know there is hope, but it is long past due. I will not be saying promise me this because it will be a broken promise. All I can do is give them to God and Pray.

Some people are full of empty promises. A promise is your "word" and should be kept, it is like your honor, don't make one if you intend not to keep it. Just say maybe, or I will think about it.

The weather forecast was for the wind to blow too hard to fish today, but when my husband woke this morning and looked at the weather website, it showed the wind had been calm all night, so he went fishing. Yesterday, he only caught 3 fish, and if that had been me, who only caught that many, he would be telling me that I was crazy for going the next day, but I would have gone just as he did, and it is a good thing he went because he caught 48 pounds of pompano. Last week, the fishhouse paid $6.50 a pound, but if they get any amount in, they will drop the price.

I had to take my son back to the hospital for another 2 day wound check. Today they gave me a wound care doctor's number and said to make him an appointment with her, but if I can not get the appointment within 2 days, I am to bring him back there. They said the cheek bite is doing good, but the staples in his leg are looking red around them. They gave him a shot in both sides of his rear and called in a stronger antibiotic.
