5 minute freewrite 2901 prompt so what?

My shed has a couple of leaks in the roof, and I wanted to get it patched before we get rain. If my back is still hurting, so what? I am the only one who can fix it. I did this when my husband was fishing because he would yell at me for being up there, he is too heavy to climb onto the roof.

I had a used can of Flex spray and thought it would be easy to hit each screw with it. I sprayed two of them and ran out. I had a roll of Flex tape, so I had to climb back down the ladder and go get it. I cut pieces of the Flex tape big enough to cover the screws. I figured if some were loose and leaking, eventually more would do the same, so I covered all of them. Now my shed looks like my son, they are both covered in bandages.

Tomorrow I have to take my son back to the ER and have them change the bandages. I never heard of an ER wanting you to come back, they usually tell you to see your primary care doctor, but his paperwork said to bring him back there. It is going to be hard getting him into the truck.

My sister wants to fish, and for me to run the boat, we have been working on getting all of my rods and reels ready to fish. I have not used them for 2 years, and the reels needed to be oiled and cleaned, and new fishing rigs needed to be made. I told her that Monday was going to be the only calm day to fish this week. Today she told me she had a side job for Monday, and did I mind if she did it? I told her she'd better go with the sure money because you never know if you are going to make anything fishing.

I think we have done a lot of work and will not go fishing much because of her side jobs. In fishing, you can not pick your days, you need to go when the weather allows you to go.

I guess now I will have the time to put a coat of gelcoat on my boat, the old gelcoat has worn off, and bare fiberglass is showing. I also need to extend the chains on the trailer and hook up a bilge pump switch. We were to do that tomorrow, but she told me she is going to visit her son tomorrow.

The guy who cut my son up with a knife was not charged with attempted murder, they charged him with battery with intent to cause bodily harm. He has no bond. I hope they keep him for a long time, but I will not hold my breath.
