5 minute freewrite 2810 prompt presidential pardon

This is my post for #freewriters 2810 prompt presidential pardon hosted by @mariannewest

We are having weird weather. The sky will turn black all around us, but nothing happens. My sister lives 5 miles from me, and she was visiting. When she got home later, she called and said, "That was some thunderstorm, it rained so hard it tore the sun shield down from over the pool." I told her it never rained here.

She then starts telling me that it is because of all of the cloud seeding they are doing. I argued with her about it, but deep down, I wonder if something strange is going on, be it man made or something screwy in nature, we have never had storms like this.

Yesterday I said to my husband, Doesn't it seem like our weather has shifted to the north? He said it has, and that is why most of the lobster fishermen up north are going out of business. He said the lobsters have moved into Canadian waters because of the water temperatures have changed. US fishermen can not fish in Canadian waters, or vice versa.

Even if someone was cloud seeding over us, I am sure the governor would get the president to give them a presidential pardon. He would find a way to profit from it, and the inventor would get presidential accommodations, like the one in the Everglades.

Any official cloud seeding is public information. Some say this is all because of global warming and climate change. Anthropogenic (human-caused), natural cycles, or a combination? Or just our human need to find patterns in randomness?

I didn't think cloud seeding was a real thing, I guess I was wrong. I am not sure what is causing the weird weather, it could be a cycle or climate change. It does not matter because whatever is causing it, it is changing.

The weather is changing. San Francisco's weather is converging with that of San Diego, which is close to your latitude, of 20 years ago. It is the muggiest summer here, though still foggy and gray, that I can remember.

We have always had hot weather with afternoon thunderstorms, now we have hotter weather and a few thunderstorms. It is hotter now, but that might be because of the lack of rain.

Weather pattern changes seem to be happening around the globe. Perhaps it's just another cycle we're experiencing. Interesting how fisherfolks get to feel the impact first hand. Not too many elected officials deserve their post. Here, the flooding problem is one of the biggest issues in the metro and surrounding suburbs. It's a recurring problem every year, but I don't know what's being done (if any at all) about it. 🤔

Happy Sunday 🎉 !BBH

Yes fishing and the weather go hand in hand. It is too bad they are not addressing your flooding problem. It makes me mad when I see them building a sidewalk with money they could use to improve roads that flood.

It seems our weather these days is undergoing a lot of changes and these changes are mostly man-made. Construction workers tampering with rainfall, manufacturing companies releasing more than enough gaseous emissions and all that. All these impact on the atmosphere which in turn affect our weather globally.

Man will end up destroying everything in nature.
