He landed on my front door and wanted in. He looked harmless, a cross between Mork and Alf with flair. I asked what he wanted, and inside was his reply.

I need to rest. I am on my way to nest. Feeling sorry for the little guy, I let him inside. He stayed way too long, and it was time to be gone. Before he left, he ate my favourite ant with a smile he flew, saying you fool.

Let me be. I do you no harm. So he sat in wait. When I saw what he saw, I clinched my fist and screamed, not my favourite ant as his tongue rolled out and sucked him up.

Standing tall is the most majestic of all, Mr Lubber, with his colors of black, red, and gold. Don't trust him, his heart is cold. His wandering 5 eyes have proved he's not for you. Legs as strong as steel, he stomped my favourite ant.

The lazy frog lies in wait, and as soon as you feel trapped, he pounces on you. Or is he a crook? He lets someone else do the work, and when food gets caught, he steals it like he did with my favourite ant.

No worries, she said with a smile, I am big, I am old. I did not get this way by being shy. I will eat you.

Sneaky frog, you know nothing about how to lay in wait, I will have you gone before it is late.
