5 minute freewrite 2463 prompt full of sunlight
This is my post for #freewriters 2463 prompt full of sunlight hosted by @mariannewest
On July 25th my youngest daughter was back in the hospital but this time she was so bad they kept her for 2 days and I stayed with her. While I was there my youngest son called and asked if he could use my laptop, I told him he could.
When I got home, I went on it and posted a picture to a fossil hunters group then shut it down. Later when I wanted to get back on it, it told me to enter A1B2C3 and a catch phrase, I have never had a catch phrase and everything I tried to enter would not work, I was locked out.
Yesterday I went with my oldest daughter to visit her daughter on the west coast and I was telling them about my computer problems, they researched it and said someone was trying to hack into it so it locked them out, but also me. It was late when we got home last night so my daughter came by today and was able to fix it, so I am back and over my little spell of depression that I had in my last post, now I am full of sunshine and feel so loved because it is my birthday and my youngest gave me a card that really touched my heart, it is my favorite gift. I got a beautiful orchid, an external hard drive a cherry tree and two collector plates, but that card, there are no other words but other than filled with love.
This also happened, My granddaughters dog was the one that got Rudy but now the other dog got another baby rabbit. This one was maybe 2 or 3 days old, I had him 4 days before he started to open his eyes. They fully open at one week.
My husband heard it crying and found the dog with it under my truck, it was wet and covered in sand. I washed it the best that I could, without soaking it.
I put him in a small cage and put it in with Rudy, I was hoping if he made it, they would be friends. Rudy kept jumping on top of the cage and I was afraid his little feet would go through the wire so I covered it. The next morning when I got him out, the cover was wet, Rudy peed on him. Rudy has never peed anywhere except his litterbox. When I went to feed the new guy, he peed on me, Rudy never did this and this little guy did it 2 different times. I named him Little Pisser.
I would not name Rudy until I was sure he was going to make it, I wish I would have held to that.
Little Pisser passed after me having him for 6 days. I do not know what happened, maybe he had internal injuries from the dog or maybe it was because I could not get evaporated goats milk like I fed Rudy, all I could get was regular goat's milk that came in a carton in the milk section of the store. My husband found where kitten milk was sold and bought a can of it, but I think it was too late for it.

Oh! A story of both gladness and sadness.
I am glad you are back though! Really glad!
Thank you @owasco it is good to be back
I thought of you and your daughter and realized she might have been sick again ... praying!
Thank you @deeanndmathews she was in the hospital for 2 days but when I got home my laptop locked me out. This time the doctor wrote a prescription that goes in the breathing machine that I have so now I can give her treatments at home, the last two doctors were supposed to write them but when I picked up the scripts they were not included.
Hive will be here, Lord willing -- I'm just glad to know you are OK and she is doing better -- PRAYING!
Now I need to catch up on your story.
The hacker, the password, the daughter in hospital, the dog with another baby bunny - and you've managed to keep Rudy alive for how long now? (Baby bunnies are notoriously difficult to save.) And wow, you really do write well, with a high impact - you know that, right?
This,
I would not name Rudy until I was sure he was going to make it....
and the picture that follows...
WOW
And Rudy uses a litter box!
Your children and grandchildren are so lucky that you've been documenting your life.
(Why don't I start doing that!!)
Great post, as always. :)
Thank you for saying I write well, I do not see it but @deeanndmathews told me the same thing, so maybe there is something to it.
My husband was surprised that Rudy made it and I was sure the new baby would do the same, it hurts that he did not. I hope the dogs do not get any more, but if they do, I am sure I will do what I can for it.
I think everyone should write about their daily life, for their children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren, etc.
Have a great weekend.
You have a great weekend too ... so sorry about the little one ... and about your writing: @carolkean and I are just going to believe for you until you realize what a great writer you are ... you are leaving the most AMAZING legacy for your family!
Thank you, I wish I had started this 40 years ago, it would have been a good story to leave for them.
