Why Crypto Trading is Not for Everyone

I once thought trading was for everyone, but I was wrong. One thing that’s common among crypto users these days is that they think trading cryptocurrency is the same as using it for daily activities or just investing. What I want to stress here is the daily or weekly trading of cryptocurrency.

First and foremost, it’s normal for people to explore their options and find ways to earn more money, especially quick cash, or "fast money," as we like to call it.

In this fast-paced world, the go-to route for making quick money these days is trading—whether it’s forex trading or cryptocurrency trading.

Nowadays, trading has become one of the countless ways to earn online without needing to deal with paperwork from the government, making it accessible to billions of people with an internet connection.

In the past, trading used to be more formal, and you could only get into it with the government's approval or through an intermediary like a broker.

But now that it's become easier to access, many people—especially young adults—are jumping in, hoping to earn more money or even make a living off it. This, I believe, is where they make their first mistake.

Trading, you see, comes with hidden risks that might not be obvious to beginners, who sometimes get welcomed with a bit of beginner’s luck or early wins.

This is where they end up biting off more than they can chew, thinking they’ve found a way to make easy money.

There was a story about a Nigerian celebrity who once tried forex trading in the hopes of making some money. But eventually, he lost all his hard-earned savings and had to cry out to Nigerians so they wouldn’t fall victim like he did—because not everyone can survive what he has, especially if you’re not financially stable.

In short, if you think trading is for you, make sure you think twice before putting any egg in the basket.
